I thought why not have a thread about peoples tattoo's soo who has what where and what do they want.
I have an arabic symbol in blue flames saying empowerment
an ank in green flames above it and above thatIhave a eye of ra in red flames... they are on my left forearm
I have a budda holding an umbrella on the back of my neck
and above that a horseshu with 2 indapendence stars on either side and my daughters birthday in between the stars
a green celtic chest piece shaped like a diamond from my collarbone to the middle of me clevage
and a full lower back piece of a green skull with a pink bow on it and lollypops coming out the sides with stars and little circles all over it VERY colorfull lol
now do share yours ^_^
I want a lotus flower across my feet and a disney montage sleeve
and to add more stars onto my chestpiece
and I want a pink star on my left elbow
and a star tated around my labret (on the inside of my lip)
and to find something to finish my whole back with ... there is not too much more room

Once I'm 18, I plan on getting a couple tattoos.
I'm still considering what, though. Its important that if i'm branding myself for life that I make it something important and meaningful to me.. but no dumb, like "I LOVE MOM".
I've been thinking of some kind of cyborg effect up my arm.. like having a tatoo that looks like a huge cut that shows my insides, except them being cyborg-like stuff.. To show my love of computers and to look cool.
Another idea of mind was to tattoo the top of my hand with WASD (in key form). But that wouldn't be something I'd want to wake up with when I was 80.
Theres also the idea of getting some tribal designs or japanese literature. I lived in Japan, so unlike 90% of people who tattoo something japanese to themselves and dont understand what it means, it would mean something to me. Okinawa was the best years of my life. However, will it be the best years when I grow older, or just a distinct memory?
I'm also destined to have a tattoo on my head. What? I dont know.. but I'm going to have one.

Omg the most hilarious thing ever is that my next tat is going to be for my mom and it will prolly say I <3 mom. LoL...no itll prolly be more serious than that.. but yeah Lol its either that or my flint town tat which everyone of my friends thinks is dumb.

Flint is the city im from.. its ghetto... its made me a tuff kid Lol.. so i wanna represent with a huge flint town tat on my back... but since flint is ghetto... my friends call me stoopid for it. LoL. I dont know if im going to care what they say or not. LoL. maybe ill have it drawn up and then ill post it on the forums and you guys can tell me if its stoopid or not. LoL

i'm getting a barcode on teh back of my neck, or back of my shoulder. i have always wanted one, so when i'm 18 (1 year) i'll be getting it :)
other than that, i think tattoo's destroy a human's beautiful body. especially a beautiful girl. some tattoo's are ok, like back of the neck and such, but arms, ankles, feet, hands, just are not attractive to me. also a full back tattoo, ewww

I think tattoos improve it.. As long as they're serious, meaningful body art, not elmur fudd on the left cheek or something.
And to be honest with you Ziltch, I think a barcode fits under the elmur fudd category.. but to each their own.

not really. plus it's on a spot that isn't always visible, i have long hair ;)
also a barcode i have liked since i was a kid, therefore, i would like it on the back of my neck, plus it's cool.
some tattoo's are meaningful, but still not needed, like a heart, or birds on your arm or something, or when you are white and you get a tribal arm band (mind of mencia show).
the human body doesn't need to be improved, it's already wonderful ;)

i think the barcode thing is cool.. I mean i am not into tattoos to be used on me but on others depending on what it is it's ok and the barcode happens to be ok in my book..(which is rare.)

thats awesome if u can get that drawn I would love to see it.... and to each his/her own.... but all the tats I have are a part of me I want people to see,in battle u wear scars these are my modern day scarslol... and Ideas I don't want myself to ever forget... they are a awesome conversation starters as well ^_^
I love them but I think people look beautiful with or without them ^_^

But the thing about tattoos is, just because it's not meaningful to you, doesn't mean it's not special to that person. I mean my tat is simple, but it's does have a meaning... to ME. And that's all that really matters.
Plus, I don't really think any tattoos are "needed" persay... I mean why do you need a barcode tat? You don't, you just want one. Which in my opinion is a fine reason. :)

I got a tattoo of a black butterfly on the my foot summer just gone and next summer im gonna have some flowers added near my toe area so it looks as tho the butterfly is flying towards the flowers

i'm 18 in just under a months time...so that means I can get tattooos yay, but im not gonna rush into getting something permanant on my body just because im 18, i'll only ever get a tattoo if it really means something to me :)

I'm going to get a tattoo! ..or two. I'm really into dragons..always have been..so my tattoo (yes I already have it partially drawn out and stuff O.o) will look along the lines of this..just uh..better looking lol :

Just sit down with the tattoo artist, and let them know what you want. You would be amazed with what they can come up with! :)
I've been thinking about get some kind of korean inspired tat, but I'm not sure what I want it to be yet... I wish I could draw! >.<

I have one on my low back, yes it is my gamer name but it had way more meaning to me before I got hardcore into games.
