OMG I have been wanting a GI Joe movie to come out forever :D Snake Eyes FTW he was always my favorite GI Joe, and London will see that this movie will be the best in years, it will even blow Transformers away. And it looks so badass in the previews, so I simply cannot wait to see it.

It same boring plot we all know that G.I. Joes are going win and like every movie there is always going be a sequel. I'm not saying I wouldn't go see because I rather see this movie then bruno(Seriously I don't know y you guys like that movie). If I go see the movie it would be because of the action, I thought G.I. Joe would be on more realistic style but I guess that isn't the case. We will see how it goes in theater, but I don't think it will beat Transformers 2 money wise. The movie may make up to $200 million, but that all I give it.

I am already not liking it since so far (previews) its going way off from what I grew up with. Just like Transformers, which I found the second one big explosion and nothing more.

It may be good but its just gonna be another action movie, NOT G.I. Joe.

So have I, im kinda a nerd for it. I didnt learn everything from the book, but reading the newest book im a little bad that they changed Snake Eyes and Storm Shadows background.
The real story:
Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow served together in the Vietnam war, along with Stalker- who is not going to be in the movie. Storm Shadow saved Snake Eyes life. But they got done in Vietnam and coincidentaly Snake Eyes family was killed in a crash, along with Snake Eyes' brother who soon became the Cobra Commander. Then Snake Eyes decided to join Storm Shadow in Ninja training with the Arashikage Clan, the Hard Master knew that Snake Eyes was a early learner and great ninja, so he asked Snake Eyes to take his responsibility when he died, but he refused, for Storm Shadow. Then a while later the Hard Master was killed by the Cobra Commander, with a weapon of Storm Shadow, so Storm Shadow was thought responsible. And Storm Shadow fled, he was lost and confused. Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow aren't supposed to kill each other because they are blood brothers. In the movie it is believed that Storm Shadow killed the Hard Master and is now trying to kill Snake Eyes thinking Snake Eyes would take his role as the Hard Master. Hope the movie turns out to be good though. :D

Blowing Transformers away will be easy especially the second one mainly because Micheal Bay made one mistake...casting Megan "Hammer Thumbs" Fox, my xbox acts better than she does. Not that I didn't like the first one, I did, but the story lines are just seriously jacked he didn't follow the comics or cartoon for that matter whatsoever

I think this will be the same for this movie not being very accurate at all, therefore I have to agree with London it will be a Fail, EPIC Fail, to some of us older people the sticking to the story is what makes or breaks a movie.

i.e., I'm 36/7 and I grew up collecting GI Joe comics and figures, and same with Transformers, I got up at 8 am every Saturday morning, yeah believe it or not before Nickelodeon came along they used to show cartoons on Saturday mornings from like 6am - 11am, and it was the best day of the week

Just saw it!! I thought the graphics were wooooonderful. The plot was so-so. And some of the acting was pretty horrendous.

But I wanted to see this movie in the theater for one reason and that was for the visual affects....aaaand Channing Tatum. Even though he's like a male Jessica Alba...super hot but lacking in the acting department. He didn't do too bad in this one though!! I would have to say Dennis Quaid was the worst...which actually surprised me.

This movie kind of reminded me of Transformers. Where there is a massive action scene with lots of explosions smack-dab in the middle of a busy city. See, I'm easily distracted and I start thinking about how many casualties there are. I mean the death count must be astronomical! Then I say "Shutup you idiot, it's just a movie." and continue to stuff my face with popcorn and try to enjoy the movie. :)

Yeah, Transformers definitely killed with the CG. You don't get any better than that when it comes to visual effects. When it comes to Mr. hottie he was, indeed, that of a hottie. ::sigh::
I oogled them goodies.

I really loved the accelerator suits though...I would enjoy destroying everything in my path with one. But not in any major cities, of course.

And, yes, I said "oogles them goodies." I'm sorry that I am too lazy to delete what I said and then go ahead and repeat it again. lol.
