Proposing a Community Play-Date

We used to have a Community play night once a week when I first joined so I would like to try and get something like that going again. I don't think I could do it every single week but maybe once a month on a scheduled basis play a different game. This would give Community members a chance to meet and play with both PMS and H2O members and also get the community a little more involved other than just the forums. So I guess what I am looking for here is would anyone be interested in doing this. I would like to try and cover Xbox first and if that goes well maybe get people to host something on the PS3. I have a PS3 but I don't have very many games at all.

As I said this post is a way to get an idea of just how many people would do this not only community members but clan members as well. I think something like this would help strengthen the entire community and who knows you might have fun doing it..lol

Obviously there will be guidelines that have to be followed but I will list more on that if we can get this going. The game played for a certain month will be determined by a poll so that way everyone gets a chance to vote. We may need a couple of room hosts which I would prefer to come from within the clan either a PMS or H2O member because the purpose of the is after all to meet and play with clan members.

From you guys I am asking for you to post any ideas,concerns,games and if you would like to participate in something like this,if you have any questions please feel free to PM me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. If you would like to help host rooms or host on PS3 feel free to post here as well.

I agree with this if you want you can always PM me your concerns and no matter who it was your concerns or reasons for no could be addressed. I posted this in hopes of getting everyone's feelings and opinions on this to try and make this work and bring the entire community together. Again thank you everyone.

The games are TBD as of right now until I find out just how many people want to do this and once I do then I will post a poll with a list of games to be voted on by everyone to determine what game will be played for that month. As said above I would like to try and get the Xbox side going good and then move to Playstation once I know this is going to be a success.

I would like to start this at the end of this month if I have enough interest. So far it looks like most want to do this but there's a few that don't and I would like to know what their concerns are or just their opinion because like I said everyone's opinion will be taken into consideration. I posted this thread for the purpose of getting everyone's opinion and point of view whether it be negative or positive because this is something for the entire community not just clan members.

I'm the same with the PS3 I only have a few games like Killzone2 (haven't even opened it yet,dang you Fallout 3 and my 360),Little Big Planet,Resistance Fall of Man and Ninja Gaiden lol. I may just have to get a few more.

The only 360 game I have is Project Gotham Racing 4 *tear*
I'll hopefully be getting Halo 3 sometime soon though.

aye this is ok, I have Ps3 <333 and a xbox360 i have 3 games on xbox... cod4 cod5 and halo 3 which i only like 1 of them lol... i have no intention of buying anymore for the xbox

I'm the only one doing this atm so for now weekly would be a bit much for me. This won't count as practice just so everyone knows and we really can't have it take the place of practice. So for a night this month I will say July 25th starting at 7pm cst,sound good?

I'm not sure what you are saying 4 games on the same night? Again this wouldn't work well because right now I am the only one doing this for the community. Each month we will play a different game so at least one month we should have a game for most. If this does start going well I might even up it to once every 2 weeks so that would possibly mean twice a month sound good to everyone?
