how to make/get a custom banner

Hi there I am new to the forum life and have no idea how to make a banner is there anyone who can help me I have plenty of pics to use but don't know how to appy the text or how to get it the right size... thanks for the help

You PMed me about this before so I'll try to explain it better here. :)

1) You can request a sig in these forums, under the thread names "Graphic Genesis" or "Sig Knights". They can make professional quality sigs for you.

2) You can make your own sigs. Use either Paintshop Pro X (I fell in love with the trial version) or Photoshop or even MS Paint, which is what I use for mediocre sigs and awesome userbars.

For example, you could go to the Sig Knights thread, follow their guidelines for a sig, and you should have your sig within a week, even possibly a day!

what program do you have? most of us use photoshop. and there are some tutorials that you can find in a thread pinned at the top of the page
