Honestly, all the people who say you just shouldn't have read the book before the movie - I probably wouldn't have had as much desire to see it in the first place because it was disappointing...imo. =]

i can't wait for this movie to come out. I read ALL the books and the first movie was disappointing because they left some good stuff out BUT i would have seen it anyway even if i heard it was bad because i loved the books that much. :D

That may be true, BUT this was also targeted for a younger audience, so I could see why she made changes. Not sure parents would really go for their kids watch a vampire's skin burn and turn in to ashes.. lol.

I am too!! I love TrueBlood dearly! If you didn't already know this, Stephanie Myer got the Twilight saga idea from the TrueBlood books, actually. If you can't tell. It's almost the exact same story line, but it is made with age appropriate changes. OBVIOUS age appropriate changes lol.

I also just started watching the Underworld movies, and they are pretty cool, as well.

With that said, nothing can replace Twilight's place in my heart.. even though the first movie was such a dud. The books are very well written and that in itself is amazing. It's hard to find books that leave you ready to run to the store in your PJs to get the next one, even though the next one hasn't come out yet.

I was actually never a fan of fictional novels. I have always been a fan of true stories of people's messed up lives. IE- Go Ask Alice, James Frey's books, Smashed, Chuck Palahniuk.. etc. I was getting ready to drive across country, at Walmart, and they didn't have anything to choose from.. I heard everyone obsessing over Twilight, so I checked it out. It 'sucked' me in.. lol.

I can't wait to see if the second movie is even a tiny bit better!! Which, I'm sure it will be since they realized they sucked at life the first time around!

Okay people, let's be honest here. The first movie wasn't good. From a purely unbiased POV, I thought it was horrible. I never paid attention to the whole "Twilight" craze, and was dragged along to the movie by my ex not really knowing much about it. The actors are awful, and completely unattractive. Robert couldn't hide his accent and Kristen always looks confused. The only reason this series is so popular is because of the whole "forbidden love" thing. Even then, the actual story isn't good. Now I haven't read the books, so I cannot comment on them, but the movie is garbage and I doubt "New Moon" will be any better.

just in case no ones heard according to the magizine US ....victoria will not be played by the same person....i believe its the 3rd movie this is taking effect in. she didnt tell the producers that she was going to filming another project in the middle of when they were going to be filming the saga mpvie..supposedly theyre going to court though.

well i agree the books are 1000000000 times better than the movie but new moon should be better cause different director....even the cast say they prefer the new 1:D
