OK ALL, twitter has long become an important social networking tool. Over the next few weeks we will be launcning an initiative to provide active and relevant daily content for our twitter.
Things we will be posting will include thought provoking, informative, and fun blogs, PMS News, Gaming News, and other relevant updates and information that people might be interested in viewing.
As many people are now using twitter and not everyone is on the forums we feel this is a great way to keep up with everyone. I am requesting for members to do the following:
1. Please create a Twitter Account (http://www.twitter.com) and retweet or link our twitter when you see something interesting!
2. PLEASE start following the PMS Twitter (http://twitter.com/PMSClan) and pushing for others to start following.
3. Please post in this thread if you see something "twitter worthy" or you feel would be good content to twitter about. This includes blogs, news, or fun stuff!
With all of your help we can help build this tool to promote for sponsors and provide amazing content for members and other gamers!

I created it thinking I could update every moment lol it's not so easy juggling 3 different twitters, so guys PLEASE create content for the site that we can twitter about. Afterall, you help make the site what it is.
That being said if I come across a blog you've written here that I really like and Twitter worthy it will be going up...with your permission of course!
Look for some awesome contests on there soon as well ; )
I'm creating a graphic for the front page with all our social networks so hopefully it should be easier to keep track of all of them.

Gypsyfly, there are some apps that run multiple twitter accounts at once. Not sure if you are using a PC or Mac, but there are a few different paid and freebie options.
As for Twitter... try not to go too Twitter happy, especially in the beginning. If you tweet too much, people will unfollow because half their twitter stream comes from one person. It isn't so much quantity as it is quality.
And make sure you are following all the PMS & H2Os with a Twitter account... Here are some threads:

Once you follow them, many should follow you back... the bonus here is you know they are real people and not twitterbots.

To call anything that connects people on a large scale pointless seems to not make sense to me, it's like saying the internet is pointless.

I have to agree. Twitter is actually getting up there with MySpace and Facebook.

Twitter owns Myspace and Facebook on every level, they cut out all of the unneeded crap like applications and groups and events and made a pure messaging, peer-to-peer website. It's awesome, and soon to take over the world (that's no exaggeration; A qualification for the senior manager position at Bestbuy is to have 250 followers on twitter).

Maybe some of the tweets could be used to RT stuff that members tweet (i.e. when pros or other players stream their games, info regarding tournaments, etc.). While it's highly unlikely that EVERYONE will follow EVERYONE, more people will follow one central twitter account such as this one to get that kind of info). Just a suggestion!
For anyone that wants to follow a SC2 players twitter, mine is @basilisktv.
I pretty much tweet when I go live on twitch.tv and RT other cool stuff (always about video games though).

I didn't realize how nifty twitter was until now. Now I can update my facebook and twitter through my phone and link everything to my youtube channel and music blogs. I also started following the pms twitter. twitter /unhated ^^
