Just wondering, I have a regular DS and am wondering if I should get a DS Lite. If so what games should I get? Is it worth upgrading?

Well I mean as far as games go, they can be played on both the regular and the lite, so I wouldn't think that would be a deciding factor. But my favorite games for the DS are, Super Princess Peach, Animal Corssing and New Super Mario Bros.
I guess it really depends if you have the money to spend. I think it was worth it. :)

i would wait. apparantly the Pink DS Lite and the Black DS Lite are coming to america soon. so save up and i would wait for the black. i have one, and mine will always be the sexiest ds in the world. but yeah.

Pink and black DS Lites will be out in Nort America for Christmas if they aren't near you already... If you want a color I'd say wait. Otherwise it is wort it to go from a regular DS to a DS Lite.

Well, if you have the money and the right DS lite go for it. Maybe if you wait a while the internet browser will be pre-programmed into it rather than an add-on.

I'll probably just wait for the next nintendo hand-held to come out. I have Brain Age and New Super Mario Bros, but those games don't keep me entertained for but 5 minutes.

Well there are certainly a lot of good DS games out there. Maybe you should look into getting a new game! :p
But if you want to wait a few years for another handheld to come out...then whatever floats your boat! :)

To answer your question, YES it is definently worth upgrading the differnce is fantastic! The screen is absolutly awesome your games will look different as its far more brighter for a start and the buttons feel a LOT better as does the overall feel of the DS Lite.

Get animal crossing, there is no way you can play that game for less than 5 minutes.

No you don't. All you have to do is transfer the WiFi settings from the original DS through the WiFi setup menu to the new DS via DS Download Play. Nintendo put this (http://www.nintendowifi.com/global/searchArticles.do?article_id=150) article out on it when the Lite came out to reduce confusion. I guess you missed it though.

The pink and black ones are coming out Tuesday in Portland. I got mine paid off already, just need to pick it up. I can't wait. From what I've heard, it should definitely be worth the upgrade.

I just picked up my black ds lite, and oh boy is it nice. The screens are much brighter, plus it seems more powerful in general. My only complaint is that the gba slot is smaller, so my gba games stick out some. I wouldn't go back to the normal ds.

So I am hoping to get a ds lite for xmas...its either that or a kick butt power drill. So how doees everyone feel about it and what are some cool games so i can "drop the hint" to my hubby. my son took over my gba so i cant even play my final fantasy anymore!

Def, Animal Crossing and Mario Kart are the huge ones. I've been loving Cooking Mama and it's only 20 bucks, and in my area it's getting hard to find since so many people are buying it. I also enjoy Brain Age, Super Mario Bros. Zoo Keeper, Nintendogs and Trauma Center: Under the Knife<---was pretty hard to find until they re-released more copies.

I bought an old ds so i could paint it with nailpolish. I still need to buy me a pink one. I like warioware: touched for some reason, lol. I like taking the toilet paper off the roll, lol.
