With i36 ending just last weekend, I just recieved an email telling me Multiplay i37 tickets are now on sale, with a 29% reduction too, selling for £64 if you buy before May 11th.
i37 will take place at Stoneleigh Park over 7-10th August 2009, and they have 2000 tickets for sale.
In which case i might buy a seat, post here if you plan on going and where you plan to sit so we can sit together. :mvdj:

Also after last time i went (i36 last weekend) i only really slept like for 1 night and i hardly used my tent for the fact that it was too un comfortable, i also went into one of the hostels and there quite comfortable but are very small but definetly worth the money tbh id be up for sharing the cost of it with someone ??

Yeah for sure, i took a look at a couple of the prices and between 3 or so people it would be pretty cheap.

You really can't fit more than 2 people in each of the hostel rooms i'm afraid. Ive stayed there for the last 3 events. I;ll be there of course, not sure if I am going to staff it or just pop down for a day or so yet. Will keep you posted

What row is near the shutters? because it doesn't give any indication on the seat picker (http://iseries.multiplay.co.uk/seating/i37/), I imagine they would be at row A, or row AR.. Anyhow, seats at both ends are open so its all good.

and your sure you couldn't fit more than 2 in a room? I'm sure 1 person could get enough room on the floor xD

ok well tbh Kamie is correct i visited one and they are VERY tight fitting tbh if one person doesnt mind having THE worst nights sleep inbetween the beds then theres room, just....also the row that i was on last time was row N and the shutters were pretty much in line with that row ill have a look see and post back here.

Well, i've booked and paid for my ticket, i just need to pick a seat; soooo, I'll just wait for one of you guys to buy one and then we can start bunching together xD Prefferably near these mentioned shutters otherwise it sounds like i'll die from humidity. What side are the shutters located on of the rows N+P? Seats 1-24 or Seats 25-48? Thanks :mvguitar:

shutters are on the left hand side (nearest seats numbered 1)

im hazarding a guess that they are around row M and row AE ish. I cant remember. I'll find some pics of the hall and take a better guess later.

Yer i think thats were they are it sounds about right anyway, also just a thought to everyone were would you rather sit nearest ? toilets, shutters or bar? lol soo much choice haha anyway i was atchually thinking seriously about if we all want to try and get a double bedroom in the lodge we can all chip in and share the price thatway we at least get a shower (think they comein the rooms have to check) or wahtever anyway long way yet so plenty of time to choose tbh

My recommendation is near the shutters on the left hand side of the seating plan. Although further away from the bar, it's closer to the toilets aswell, and it's nicely positioned in the hall

Also, why not just use the public showers? They're not THAT bad (as long as you go at the right time; at night).

Also, we're both registered under "PMS | H2O" as our clan prefix, so if anyone put this as theres; it will bring up a roster of who else will be attending with said clan tag.

they're different tickets you can buy, is there not. to the people whos been b4 which is probably the best buy....? b. y. o. c.. or t. u. p.... obviously t u p but is it worth the money... or is there any other tickets. like b. e. o. haha tbh Sam i went for my first time ever to i36 and brought the BYOC ticket and i was very sceptical about this but i am very glad that i did buy it also at the rate the tickets are going at i would buy a BYOC ticket as more than likely you will end up with the WFNF ticket ;) so if your planning on coming get a move on lol,
The only problem with TUP is that if there no spaces left then your not garunteed a place at all so you could end up wasting money.

There are only 3 types of tickets:
Bring your own computer/or xbox (BYOC), gives you full access to the lan, camping, bar, exhibition, finals area.

Spectator: You can either buy a full event pass which gives you all the privilages of BYOC except you dont have an xbox/pc with you and you will not get a chair or table space. You can also buy day tickets (with these however if you want to get into the lan area you need someone with a byoc ticket to meet you at reception).

Turn up and Play: These are more expensive as you are given a computer or xbox to play with for the duration of the event. However the TUP area is separate from the main BYOC area so you will not be able to sit with clan mates. You get same level of access as BYOC

If you are staying for the whole event and have no problems bringing an xbox/pc go with a BYOC ticket. You will get bored as spectator.

You can also pay an extra 15 quid to arrive on the thursday afternoon (Early Arrival Service). This cost applies to all above types of tickets, even spectators.

Multiplay book the hotel and hostel out, you have to book through them. When you do your ticket you can add either the hostel or hotel as an extra service.

You dont have to sit in a particular section. Eg, you can sit in the CSS section even if your main game is say WoW. You can bring a PC as well but you can only have one on at a time and they should really both use the same monitor to save on space (you only have 3ft). It is strictly one monitor per person. What you could do though is buy an extra seat and have another one there. Bear in mind though that if you bring pc, monitor and console you will only be given 2 security stickers (if they are still going to do them) so make sure you bring your console to reception before you take it in to the gaming hall to see if you can get another however if you buy another seat check-in both bookings and you will get an extra sticker.

All the above comes from what has happened at previous events, I can not say it will be the same for this one so probably best to send a ticket to mpuk and get an official response. http://support.multiplay.co.uk/

@Asch: I don't want to hurry you or anything but there's only 222 places as of this post; it'd be awesome if you made it though :D

In my opinion about food and drink, it's always best to bring a lot of snacks for throughout the day, and keep your money for things like pizza and stuff for a bit later on, well that's what I usually do. It was lucky last time that Rustlers were giving out free burgers and stuff, and massages :mvboogie:

The i-Series is the UK’s Largest LAN Party, where thousands of gamers from all around the UK, Europe and beyond gather together for a weekend of gaming, socialising and more. visit *here* (http://iseries.multiplay.co.uk/about/)

it is more of a PC lan than anything although consoles are there to, my self and Smallfry along with the CSS H2O and PMS CoD4 guys and girls attended i36 a while ago and is definetly one of those events that you will never be able to compare against as it has got such a uniyqe atmosphere about it. if you need any more info feel free to contact me mate :)
