Hi everyone, I'm Adam. Everyone calls me Tibbs, though. I've been a casual gamer for a long time. I'm not super competitive so I'm not a hardcore gamer. But I do really support female gamers, which is why I'm here.
I love all types of games: FPS, RTS, adventure, MMOs. I'm not a fan of sports games, although I do LOVE sports. I'm currently a grad student in Minnesota so my major game is WoW. I know that sounds like an oxymoron, but I usually only get to play later at night, and it's the only game I have that I can sit close with headphones and not disrupt anyone who's asleep. I can play it for a couple of hours or so and be fine with just a couple of things getting done.
My favorite games by far have been the Legend of Zelda games (mainly OoT and beyond), so anyone who wants to gush about the series, feel free :mvclap:
Anyways, I'm really glad to be a part of this community and to support the ladies who game :mvguitar:

Wow, what a welcome :) This is a really nice community of gamers and people I can already tell. I'm used to being trash talked until I die for showing my face in a forum, but this place is really great so far. Even in the threads I've lurked, nothing but really nice people overall. Thanks for making a nubbin feel welcome!
Thanks Panda, I may have to take you up on that offer :)
And jkl890, A link to the past is fantastic, but I have to say no other game in history has made me feel the way OoT did. I really felt lost when I finished that game. I know it's lame, but that's the first and only time I've ever felt connected to a character in a game. Every time I hear the music from the game I smile, still. When it ended I literally was like "Where does Link go from here? What about Hyrule? What about ME??" Man, such fond memories of that game. /end gush

Haha, I always feel like I'm the only one in the Twin Cities area that plays games. Glad to know someone else is here too.
Thanks again everyone for the welcome :) And LadyChidori, I'm glad you like my XBL guy. I decided that it was supposed to represent me, but that doesn't necessarily mean it has to LOOK like me. I'm a very silly person and often joke around, so while he looks like me if I had a handlebar mustache, mohawk and a monocle it's really more about my personality.
