TwitchGuru had a neat writeup today on how gamers are starting to turn to narcotics in order to increase compeditive performance levels. Interesting read and I can certainly see this becoming an issue of increasing importance... just wait until the polititions catch wind of this...
Indeed, a number of drugs are becoming popular among gamers, from amphetamines to nootropics or "smart drugs". Young people are even experimenting by combining drugs, such as Ecstasy and Viagra.
So would you ever take viagara if it meant a slight edge over the competition? And personally, I dont see how ecstacy could increase performance one bit.. I would see it more of a distraction than anything.. unless you took a really small amount... then maybe.

I would say caffine is the only drug im addicted to, I blame univercity ;)

eh, I think most gamers who do drugs did them before they were gamers. I don't think i've met anyone who felt pressure to start doing drugs for game performance...
In the end, i think doing drugs while playing games would just negativly effect your performance. Sure, it would be easier to stay awake all night, but would the performance be the same?

Interesting, I can see caffiene being an issue, and when there is the money, there will be the people who will go to any extent to get it. The rest of us can just enjoy the games (or like me you can just have super-human abilities naturally....or...something :p )

To be on topic, I just think its pretty dumb to even think about that. Give me break. I dunno people find the dumbest ways to something so small out of it.
a baddie? you mean badas*? as in incredibly awesome and stuff? maybe, but I try to stay in the background least I steal everyone else's thunder :p
you know it r33, but you'll have to wait until DL to experience them....or when the camera comes out then I can hold a 'learn the secrets of the cube' every once in a while :p
I think they are using gaming as an excuse to take Viagra because they have some problems. haha. >.>

Drugs are sick and so are the drug dealers, I belive President George W. Bush should get rid of all the drugs in this country, the war on drugs.

well E and viagra is bad to take together cuz viagra slows the blood flow...to a certin part of your body to "help it" and E makes your blood flow faster so doing them both it trys to do both at once which can lead to stroke and or heartattack
BUT i will say this iv played with my friends when they are high as a kite or competely drunk and 1 person im thinking about is GOD when he is drunk
