Xbox Live - Friends list too attached?

Don't know if anyone else feels the same as I do but I get sad when someone removes me from their friends list for no reason :( Especially girls I mean I am a really nice person I dont talk trash to them at all and well just get really sad if they remove me...Just had one the other day I won't give any names but sent her a request again with a message...

Obviously if you dont play with particular people they will as you would remove them but what if you want to play with that person and they dont join you or send you an invite like on Halo 2?

I am emo and thats just me, would like a reason why at least...now I am at work...depressed :o :(

Thats normal for me, when people removes me from their friends list I just move on. I had several friends {boys & girls} on my list that deleted me. But I dont let it bother me, I just move on and find someone else.

True I dont get out much so all the friends I have are on Xbox Live :p :D haha.

I have been on Xbox Live for over 3yrs on my 4th subscription its a great experience I mean you meet all sorts of people some of which you actually get involved in their personal life which I dont mind as I love listening and helping people out if I can :)

Well catching up from Monday as it was Bank Holiday, nearly got that stupid task out of the way lol my work can get pretty involving and irritating its not fair though I dont get enough time to go on MSN and surf the net :p :D

Well I play PGR3 and Halo 2 mostly online, however just got N3 and am hooked lol! I also have PDZ which I rarely played but will can play on that too as I need to play that with another person I promised and havent been accepting their invites cos I am loving N3 lol.

I also have PREY but dont go online with it, I should as it is fun - I especially imported the US version as its region free because I desperatly wanted the LE version.

Also have Table Tennis - play that rarely but its awesome fun once you get into it although I am not that great but its super fun.

Well sometimes it's nothing against you,
when I was a wannabe recruit I had to remove many people that I didn't get the chance to play with often so I could add recruit leaders and such.
And then I made friends with girls from different divisions and decided to delete other people that I didn't talk to as much.
But I usually try to play with everybody from my list at least once every week or so.

I'm happy when someone else removes me cuz I hate having to delete somebody to add another it takes forever to figure out who will be deleted...my list is always full! :o I've been on xbl for almost 4 years now and i've kept up with about 30 friends since then! :cool: and I can never delete them...even if I only see them every few months....cuz I know we'll eventually hook back up in a game that will be released....like GOW & UC3.... UC3!! how I can't wait!!! :D

yeah thats the thing once you have been playing with people for wow that long you can never delete them! I was in the same situation once and (sadness kicking in big time...) well knew a number of amazing gamers who were friends on PGR2 and well...1 of these fantastic friends (ok I am gonna cry now) well...emmm...passed away as he was in a motorbike accident :( he was soo awesome to play with he was really funny and well it was him and this other guy together that livened things up...only until the other guy told me what happend to our friend that he too became depressed and hardly ever played again...

Xbox Live builds up very strong emotions not only for me but for others I know as well, it all depends on what kind of people you meet and I think Xbox Live truely brings people together for more than just a gaming experience but a very emotional one too.

Anyways *sigh* I am happy that you guys actually are nice in here, I have been on other forums and such talk like this is well not tolerated nicely by other guys especially - normally get flamed, abused and well you know the rest.

I notice some dont if not all soo far that I have added have an Xbox 360 (can I buy you one? Just kidding! :p ) If you have HALO 2 we should have a big game together would be awesome to get to know you guys :)

If you're going to get bummed out each time you get removed from someone's friends list, you're probably better off not using online services.

And you really shoudn't think of this as a personal insult, as the people probably don't know you in real-life. I hardly remove people from my list (I think I have yet to do so), but I have declined a bunch of random friends requests.

Many of us have friends lists that are at maximum capacity. I remove 20 people from my friends list every 2 weeks. It's not personal, but I have to constantly have an open friends list to accept new recruits and individuals for my Small Team. My priorities lie with putting Clan PMS|H2O first, Small Team Priorities (such as leaders of other teams for scrimmages), then recruits, then random players I come across.

I also don't send out FR's- I haven't sent out a FR in a few years, I only accept/decline requests. Also, if we haven't played in 1-2 weeks, chances are I'm going to remove you. There are a very select FEW that I keep on my Flist at all times, and those are my closest of friends that I may not talk to but have strong relations with.

That's just my perspective and point of view. Hope that helps with you understanding "Why".

on my other acct., i do feel down only when someone i really like to play with and if perhaps a "famous" gamer/youtuber i've had on my FL but had to part ways makes me :mvsad: (Clan comes 1st)

i'll do what Hamlet does on the GR3Y5H3ART acct. and remove someone for a H2O/PMS recruit, purge others every few weeks and almost always decline random FR's and always decline random Game inv. due to possibility of being thrown into a hacked/modded lobby
