Sorry if there is already a topic about this I did a search and it didn't find any threads, so I want a DS I think, after my last one broke about two or so years ago I bought a PSP and liked it for a while but got tired of it, but here in lies my problem, I don't know if I should just go pick up a Nintendo DS Lite or just wait and reserve a DSi for when they come out. So what do you think? which is better?

Hi. I've got a DS Lite. I'm not going to change it. Don't really think it's worth it. :mvboogie:

DSi?
It is the newest version of the DS (http://www.nintendodsi.com/) due to be released April 5th.
It has a camera.
If you already have a DS Lite I don't see the real point of getting this one unless you are still in need of a portable music device.

Oh I just watched a video it looks so stupid.... I'm gonna stick with my Lite besides I like my PSP a ton better.

I got a DS like when it launched, still works perfectly, so I don't see a reason for me to get a DSi for the time being.
There's also one bit of info that I have not been able to find online: the DSi screens are 3.5 inches compared to 3 inches for the DS, but nowhere does it mention resolution. Is the DSi a new step in DS like the lite was to the original, or is it more like a GameBoy Color to GameBoy Advance kind of leap? Will there be DSi games (asside from the downloadable ones) that will not be playable on the DS?

My only issue with the DSi is that the GBA slot's been removed. That's kind of a deal-breaker for me. :(
But if you have a GBA or a 'Cube with the GB Player, then yeah, go for the DSi. :D
