I know that you can make 3 one months, but how exactly do the xbox people know that you've made three?

You're actually limited to two, I believe. That's what my friend was limited to. But they don't know.

Its 3. At least thats where ive stopped. Its probably some little feature the hard drive has in it and once the 3rd one has made it blocks off making anymore 1 months. I have had 3 1 months off that. Sour pea, H2o budster and H2o booty. SO yeha ive made 3. I dunno why it only let him make 2 though.

no they do have limitations, and I can assure you there are other ways to define those limits other than through the removable storage (The machine not only has a serial, but also a specific MAC address, either of which may be transmitted while connecting to live)
