is there a way to bring back the color of the previous forum, or darken the color of the current forum in anyway? I feel Like I'm staring right into a lightbulb. Just wondering if it's possible.
This is just a cover up, give the admins some time

Yeah I'm hoping they'll change the color when they get a chance. lol
I like to look at the forums after I wake up, and the black was great for that. This white stuff is hurtin' my eyes though!

I took that from one of my favorite authors
I've chosen a black background for most of my text because it's easier on the eyes than staring at a white screen. Think about it: your monitor is not a piece of paper, no matter how hard you try to make it one. Staring at a white background while you read is like staring at a light bulb (don't believe me? Try turning off the lights next time you use a word processor). Would you stare at a light bulb for hours at a time? Not if you want to keep your vision.

yeah, this may be kind of bright, at first, but i figure in time i'll get used to it. I prefer dark backgrounds as well, but we'll just see what the admins do

can we not agree with the original post?
Everyone here understands that these things will take time, but as the forum states, its a suggestion area. No one is suggesting that these changes take place overnight, just throwing out ideas. I posted to let others know that i agree with him, that way its not a one man against the world scenario.
how about instead of jumping on everyones case about making a suggestion, we add to it and perhaps make more helpful suggestions?

Yeah, just give the admins some time....hehe...I know I miss the black background too, that will come in time. Plus, we're missing a few admins since they're out of town on an event. I'm working on the different sections in the forum and general clean up. At the moment I'm not sure what type of skin will have or look we'll evolve to, I just know this community will make it awesome no matter what.

i dont know i like the white back ground myself i think its easier to read plus it looks more professional i didnt mind it be4 either i think they are both great and the admins are doing an awesome job.

I'm fine with it being a white or dark background. Maybe my monitor's brightness is turned down enough, but the brightness of the white doesn't bother me at all. :)

ive seen forums where u can ACTUALLY choose the skin color.. idk, than again, issues of FONT colors for different people will arise.

i was lookin around at other forums and stuff and i found a light blu white and silver color scheme. it was 4rm vbulliten so im pretty sure they can do it on here. I wud just give them some time until they can change it.
I wonder how long it'll take?
