Well I just finished watching this movie and heres what I have to say. Loads of action, good plot, good acting, and some thrilling.
Basically the plot of this movie is about the kidnapping of a former government agent's (Bryan) daughter who is sold into the black market sex slave trade. and as you can see in the trailer http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=CvUxdQ4q-Lg he will stop at Nothing to get her back. Now some may ask is this movie very violent, well yes. he does torture some of the thugs for answers, and there is blood. but theres no limbs getting blown off with extreme graphics like that.
is there nudity, no.
Now would I recommend this movie, yup. it's superb. I give Taken 8.5/10

I think this movie was awesome. I wish i could kick some serious bootay like that...if anyone took my daughter I would definitely wish I had those same "skills" or that i could hire someone who did.

Something about him going strolling and blowing up stuff without a lot of people getting in his way doesn't seem right I mean if I blew up a big ass boat don't you think the cops wouldn't be in the station eating cookies or whatever the hell they eat to get them the stereotype of the Mall Cop Movie.

i liked it cause it was what max payne should have been but it didnt take it too far and the story is not too far from the truth. (the kidnapping and the trade part, not the 1 man army part... though i bet that also might be true.) but the kidnappers should know never to mess with a Jedi Master (Qui-Gon Jinn)

Taken was ACE! There was no messing around, it was fast and exciting! Very thrilling! Only has one ambition to get his daughter back. Phwoar...I was blown away at how good it was lol.
