I haven't done a "real" love poem in awhile, at most just talking about how great DemonGurl is (she's awesome by the way), but I wanted to do something that was love in the tradtional sense. So here it is, the best love poem I've ever written.

"Love"

I see you
Or you see me?
Our eyes meet in this room
And are dismissed hastily

I don't know,
If you feel as I do
but I know I am no fool
for being in love with you

For love has no form,
For it is an ever-changing beast
It can bring happiness in those
Who partake in it's risky feast

Love can be a spider web
Strong as steel, and so easy to fall prey to
But getting out is painful
And there are only so many gods you can pray to

Looking for love is bareness,
Like when you sat in the rain
Only who you were to blanket yourself in,
Only hope with you when that person with an umbrella came

Every overused line,
Is matched with a sonneteering fool,
Sentiments that have lost their meanings,
A pen to have degenerated to a tool

Now it is clear what Love is,
Love is every risk you take in ignorance
Love is every nothing you want to say to her
Love is every time you wished you had a second chance

I wish that I could love,
For the simple fact that I could forget the wrongs
But I know that Love is every feeling in the world
Embodied in a stupid love song,

I'm not a fool to love you,
I'm a fool to think about why I do,
Because above all love is undefined,
And to have it with another is beauty unrefined

Written in love,
but by the loveless

Thanks Demon, as always, I appreciate that you read my poems :p

and Torrid, that's funny man, cause I took this Creative Writing class, and he basically said that whatever you put on paper and form it a certain way it is poetry, and if it was really odd than it was a masterpiece.
