My first attempt at a poem, cut me some slack.

In the air, what a craze
Just waiting to fall, counting the days
Why did I shoot that Brute?
I don't know, but for a second it was a hoot.
Drifting into the stratosphere,
thinking, shouldn't I have been smeared?
Gravity is taking it's course,
But then again, I might land on a horse.
Waving my arms, like a lunatic in denial,
Is so much worse, than taking on a beast so vile,
My body will thud, eventually,
they will have their fun, their glee.
But once I land, things will start rolling,
For at their hair, they shall start pulling,
Once they realize my secondary weapon,
the boomstick, is their least favorite gun.
