I dont know about anyone else but I am so excited about this game. It looks so hot. I just hope EA and Dice don't disappoint. The trailers are so cool. I was trying to post the weapons trailer but the file is too big. Compressing it now.........

I think that the best Battlefield game was the original Battlefield 1942, Battlefield: Vietnam was also a bit fun, but BF2... meh. I've played both BF2 and BF2:MC, and I think that they are pretty lousy, can't exactly put my finger on whats missing, but they dont feel like the originals. BF1942 with the expansion packs is so much fun on LAN.

I like 1942 the best too and then just being a chopper ***** in vietnam but this 2142 game seems like a bit to much for me
Ok, another game I need to finish. I acutally got this game when I bought my GeForce FX 5700 (now in the test box pc). I installed it and boy did it have me frazzled (in a good way), my nerves were really on edge, but for some reason I did not finish it so I'll add that to the list.
Oh! now I remember what happened, I got distracted trying to load this in linux. Uhm should work now.:cool:

I agree BF 2142 kools pretty awesome, I hope the video stands up to the real game when it comes out. I'm a big battle field fan also.
Ladyofrag, you get any of the expansion packs for BF2? if so whats a good one?

The best pack would be Armored Fury. Euro Forces and Special Forces offer some new maps but not much to shout about.
Armored Fury incompasses major tank tactics when played right. Also, the new maps are on U.S. soil which is innovative in itself because no other warfare games has had U.S. conquests.
I would definitely suggest it.

It looks more objective based rather than "capture flags until the other team's tickets hit 0"
Does EA have a site up for it?
Looks like fun, but no way will I be able to play it untless I upgrade my computer.

picked up Armored Fury the other day and your right its really good, a few maps but pretty fun :D
when 2142 comes out, im pretty sure im going to get it, just to make my battlefield series complete if nothing else lol

I would but I had to shut down my radiator to conserve power. My PSU is on RMA but I have some pics of it when I first built it.

nice and clean, thats the one thing thats hard to do sometimes keep all those wires out of the way and make everything look clean instead. I like the water cooling :D

the best way to keep cabling down is the use a modular PSU and daisy chain non essential parts.

ya for mine I use wireloom like u use on cars it works perfectly for keeping all the wires together and clean. And....they come in lots of kool colors :D

Probably. They usually launch the games so fast that I don't think they test a lot of things. I just hope the new patches actually fix things this time but EA and Dice are known to be a little less than reliable.

its EA, they have a huge staff that worked on playtesting the game and still there are bugs and staff that made patches adn still there are bugs and new ones from the patches, RUINING THE SERIES, Thats What We EA Do Best

well i admit it would be aggravating but i just started a BF2 server and i plan to start a BF2142 server and it will never be patched without proper testing on my end.
