I went to LA and realized how messed up it was. That and I like messing with my friends about Cali since most of them live near the Bay Area. I really want to visit San Diego though. Since I've heard a lot of good things about it but still IMO Texas is awesome. Then again I'm pretty bias.

Texas has that Southern Hospitality which is awesome compared to other states where people are always on edge and act like total aholes.

Texas does have southern hospitality, except for their drivers, OMG Im so glad I moved outta TX, even thou there are bad drivers every where, Texas has the number 1 amount of OLD drivers now Im not saying 60 or 70 years but like 90s....

but Domination you are right about texas being hospitable and Ruin you're right about California being diverse. and If an Open state of mind was somewhere you could actually live I think it would so over crowded there, I don't know if I'd wanna live there :) j/k

Calling people aholes is only an opinion. I used to think everyone in my state were aholes and I couldn't believe I was born in California. I've been dying to leave. I then was introduced to Texas. Yea, I've had a taste of southern hospitality, which was charming. But, with that in hand, I've also had a taste of what it means to be in a "republican state" located in the "bible belt".

I was so scared I was going to get M.W. Sheparded I almost kissed the ground when we crossed back into the border of California. I'm totally not trying to say one state is better than another, just saying that along with open being a state of mind.. Well being an ahole is only a state of mind as well.

I mean tell me Texans.. Do you guys miss trees? Just wanted to know. lolz.. <--that would be me, attempting to change the subject back to why Texas is awesome ;)

Austin is a college town, so a majority of the people that live their are young. It's a fun place to visit but I couldn't live their. I live in the houston/spring area and go to college at UH. Other members that live in Dallas that I know of (since I visit them from time to time) Snake, Meow, Aliki, Venus, Cella, Lady, Tart and probly a few I left out.

Actually there are quite a few old people there as well ahah. I loved living there I have to say the people in Austin are a lot nicer then Dallas area people. Austin has so many artist, and so on it rocks. If you want to go somewhere where people are open minded that's the place to be. Only place I know of where you could walk downtown, and randomly get invited to a dorm party.
