yes actually, it does. how many artists do you see releasing works they were too lazy to finish? digital art isn't the connect the dots you left half done when you were 5, if people would start taking responsibility when they create art we wouldn't be so overpopulated with bland images.

and people showcasing their art should never showcase something not finished, unless the intent for the showcase is advice on what to do next.

why does your image show as a broken link? something you did when you saved it is preventing it from being viewed by browsers.
edit: found your issue. your image mode needs to be RGB, not cmyk color, if you expect it to be a small enough size to be loaded in the forums. right now your image is well over 1mb.

Tiki: I know you mean well and giving constructive critisim but your responses are coming across pretty harsh.

From personal experience when I created something within my first year of graphic designing I didn't like showcasing my work as I felt that it is never good enough. I am still like that, that's why I could never persue a career in Graphic/Web Design.

Don't be so harsh on the boy, it might have been one of his first attempts at creating something.

However, I do agree that the red stroke does kill the image but we all have to start somewhere.

it doesnt have to be finished for him to show. nothing has to be finished then again nothing is really ever finished and if you wanna talk about graphic design or digital design there are always somethings that need to be fixed... ALWAYS nothing can be perfect. so in reality you saying it has to be finished just to showcase is foolish.... plenty of artists look at the work after being showcased and think "man i could have done this" or blah blah blah soo dont sit here and tell him to finish it just for your pleasure. he probably didnt have time considering he was at work. maybe he did want feedback maybe not, maybe giving a design he thought could be used forosmething and we have to decide where he should take it. but like i said you cant just say ohh you have to finish it just to showcase....

well i was at work and its actually not finished i was just showing ppl how its is coming along. it is actually going on black shirts. and the printer has to b set to cmyk in order for it to print hence why i am using cmyk. but i thank you for the crits and such

in response to the constructive criticism: take it as you will, i'm not here to sugarcoat it or hold anyones hand through my posts. i come here, i speak my point, and i leave. i apologize if i don't thrive on the ability to type with a happy sense of feeling, but at least someone has the guts to tell people that they've done something wrong and what they can do next time to get the proper reaction they deserve. its only the internet, my offer for help in graphic threads is only an offer, and i'm not about to change the way i express my advice to provide people with an easier way to take criticism. now if he would've waited until he had access to finish the image, i'm sure the reactions in this thread would be much better.

i'm actually really nice in person and when talking to a person directly, i just choose not to fill my posts full of happyfaces and lol's when i know its just going to make it harder for people to understand what i'm trying to say to them.

now, i apologize for my posts, what i mean to say is:
avatar, your image is creative, but needs work. may i suggest reposting it using the black background so your image can leave the mark you originally intended. Also, in the future, if you need to set it on cmyk, please change it to RGB to save it for the web, as cmyk isn't a format recognized by most web browsers and will not display correctly when linking to it.

well the team it is designed for loves it...and since pms/h2o isnt giving us shirts to be worn at this invited tourney he had to come up with this quickly. Awww, Moose, it's not that PMS H2O doesn't want to give you shirts..we literally have no more shirts to give out. We didn't even have any to give out at the the last few industry events let alone all the international and local teams that needed them.

We don't have any until Pro Gamer sends us a new batch for next season. It sucks for people to think we're holding out when Amber is usually the first to give everyone a shirt and literally the shirt off her back sometimes.:mvsad:

its not a very high resolution, nor a very crisp image, have you put this on a shirt yet? i'd be more worried about the fabric that's used and the quality of the logo itself. if you look closely at the red border, it isn't a smooth edge, but jagged. you have to keep in mind that t-shirt printing studios aren't always the most geared towards keeping an images quality. the image you made isn't too complex, you should consider finding a higher resolution gears of war logo and work with that.

i say this from EXPERIENCE, not because i'm picking on him.

we r using a new fangled technology called the tjet blazer pro here at my job. its a machine that prints directly to the shirt. so if it doesnt look good with the red i can always go back in and take it out specially since it gets under based in white hence the test run tomorrow i will b running in the morning. and ill post of pic of it once its printed for all to see. thanks for the help everyone. m()() ^.^ ()()m

That looks wicked awsome on the Shirt bro. I could also see ppl getting it for a TAT as well. I got two friends that work at a printing place as well, they make there clan shirts there. If ppl really like it. After you make the first model. (since you had to do it so fast) you could probably think more on it, and take some orders for ppl to buy some off yah. Like you could off angle it at some cool spot, Figure out a cool Gears of war font and have GT's placed somewhere cool. I just think its an awsome design, with the conjoined gears and pms h2o, it cant be lost to this one t-shirt deal. lol Great work dude!! You have made alot of ppl happy, and im sure thats the best reward you could imagine. ^_^

wat happens is i used the red outer glow and as it went lighter it just fades to like a lightish pink and then eventually black but its more from the white under base that it looks pink on the ends.
