I know there will be some poker lovers from here going to Digital Life, so I'm sure poker could be arranged. We do need something to do when we're not at the venue. Playing with real money may not be smart though, otherwise Twin might take all of our money. :)

I definately think it's a good idea and would be fun. Oddly enough, I rarely ever get to play poker in person.

I somehow missed this thread, probably because I'm new to the forum part of this site.

Poker will be at every GGL related lan event, because I will be there.
I will be bringing my chips to DigitalLife once again, just like I did last year.
I'm the guy with the shades on who ran the Halo 2 event and also held the poker event on one of the nights.

Anyhoo, I'll be running the Warcraft 3 event, so look for me in that section, and I'll let you know which area the poker will take place at.

As for which airport you should fly into, fly into Laguardia airport (LGA).
When you take a cab, take the yellow cabs, don't listen to the guys who roll up in the Lincoln town car and say they are a cab, because they will say they're not when they drop you off and charge you double.

There will be some PS2 side events that GGL will be holding, aside from the DigitalLife tournament itself, I just don't know which games will be played, so stay tuned to the website. http://digitallife.ggl.com/

I will be at Digital Life 2006 working on several projects. Between them, interviews for Xtreme-Gamer.com and will be helping out the GGL.com girls on their event coverage. I am really interested into interviewing several members of the PMS Clan, especially you Athena Twin. But of course... we have a little IGN vs Frag Dolls thingy going on against your sister (call it, long awaited revenge) but you will be next in any game of your choice! lol.

This also goes to any PMS Clan member willing to have a great time at DL, and if any of you are schedule for a tournament, I want to wish you best of lucks!

DL UPDATE: So I left for the airport this morning at 11:30am, got to North Carolina at 4pm and had a 4 hour lay-over... so I went to the bar closest to my gate to pass the time. 3 hours later... Twin comes strollin' in... "AMBER!!" I scream, run over and give her the biggest hug. I hid behind the bar, and when Tart came in, I jumped up to surprise her!! It was so awesome seeing my wonderful PMS girls in the airport.. it just so happened we were even on the same flight. The same flight that was cancelled 2 hours later. So here we are at a hotel, together, wishing and waiting we could be there with all of you!!!! We are booked out of here at 8:05am -- so keep your fingers and toes crossed.

That sucks for you girls that got their flights cancelled. Funny story though. I think Somegirl was the only one that didn't have her flight delayed tonight. It was also an adventure just getting to the airport from JFK too, but that's a whole other story.
