Hello! I recently worked as a staff member of VGXPO in Philadelphia and was able to meet Athena Twin and several other PMS girls. I got to talk to lovely miss Amber a lot over the weekend, and she said to me, "You should join PMS. I want to see you posting on the recruitment boards!"

So here I am, posting on the recruitment boards... sort of.

Problem is, I don't know what division I'm going to enlist under.

First, I have a question: It seems that there is no "join this division" button for certain games. Does that mean that there is an overflow of people already in that game division, and I can't join it?

Second, I would like to know if any of the games are similar to the Naruto Clash of Ninja series, which I am pretty pwnful at if I do say so myself. If you're not familiar with that game, it's similar to Dead or Alive 3, which I played one time very long ago and found that I wasn't too shabby with it either. Basically, I think I'd be good at a fighting game where the arena isn't too big (the arenas on super smash are way huge!). But if there isn't a game like that, I'd be up for trying something new.

But one thing: I don't have a ps3 or an xbox 360, so I can't do anything from those divisions.

I'm not sure where there isn't a button is some divisions. Unless you're talking about the pro teams, staff, and other teams that aren't "regular" teams. You have to be a full member before joining those. Are there any PC games that you have that we support? If not, perhaps give one or two a go.

EDIT: I see what you mean with the no button thing. I think its because some are new or someone just didn't bother to put a button in. Perhaps H2O Snake would know...

But you CAN find the recruit forums for any division.

I don't have any of the PC games right now, but I shouldn't have a problem getting one.

Hmmm, that's funny. Maybe my internet was being weird. The first time I saw the super smash brothers page, it was missing an "apply for this division" button. But now the button is there. Super Smash Brothers Brawl is the only game on the list that I have. I could try that. It'd take a lot of training for me to get good at that one though! ^^;; Maybe I'll give it a try.

Go for it! You have the Wii Online thing, right? :D

Anyways, Welcome to PMS!

:D yup! We have wireless internet connection and use it with the wii and our DS's and stuff, etc.

Maybe my little brother, who plays SSBB all the time, can help me now and then.
...and he can show me where our wii friend code is because I fail at navigation. >_< lol.

edit: and thank you for the help! :)

ohhh also. If anyone happens to read this, what happens after I've posted a recruitment application? Does the division leader contact me?

Amber discussed with me about meeting you and other interested members to join PMS but not having our games. We are in the process of looking at different ways to include new girls that play games we don't have divisions in. We have a clan leadership meeting on December 7th to discuss a way to get you and other girls in.

Can you hang tight until then?

What specific division were you referring to that did not have the button?

Well... I already applied for the SSBB division. That was the one that didn't have the button at first, but it's there now; I was saying that my computer probably didn't load it because my internet has been acting up lately.

This button thing came up before in the GH/RB division. I was wondering why some divisions had them and some didn't.

Basically when you look at the divisions there are some (such as GH/RB) that have a quick link button that say "apply to this division".. (http://www.pmsclan.com/roster.php?task=division&pid=23).. I think those buttons are a bit more handy than digging around in the forum to find stuff to be honest and the lack of them on some when they are on others gives the false impression that these divisions are not recruiting.

I believe those are "the buttons" :P

^_^ Yes, that's what I meant by the "buttons." Anex, you explained it very well.

Still wondering though, what happens now that I've posted an application for recruitment? Does the division leader pm me saying I'm a recruit?

Np. It kind of depends on the division you applied for I guess. Worst case there is nothing preventing you from PMing the recruitment manager or division leader to ask.. :)

@Anex. The divisions that are in only one region appear on the division listing. Divisions with multiple regions you have to drill down below to get links. The reason for this is we have separate recruitment forums per region.

@TentenJen Our Wii divisions are currently being restructured and that is also one of our things will be discussing on December 7th. If you can hang in there hopefully we can get that division straightened out so you can recruit in.

It could take a bit of time for someone to contact you since all of that's gonna be discussed. As for what you do next, a Recruitment Manager for the SSBB Division or the Division Leader will get back to you and give you more information on when you can start Recruitment and will help you through the whole process.

Is what I was referring to. All the divisions should have buttons.

But they don't/didn't :P and I think that is what I was saying? But you said it's right that they don't because they are somewhere else? I think? LOL
