The Home Beta is out!

so far it's pretty cool, im not liking the hair styles or the color or the clothes, but it is just a beta. the facial customizations are plentiful though. and the graphics! whew awesome. the view from your balcony is amazing.

Did you download the Home theme off of PSN a while back? I am pretty sure that's how I got it when I got in the beta a couple of months ago.

That is how you do it. i downloaded it and received an e-mail this weekend. try downloading the Home theme for your PS3. You don't have to use it just download it and you may still get in. PSN = RedZulu

its alright.. i got it.. but its a drag after the next 2 to 3 days... gets boring.. i mean sure u meet all these new people but, idk.. i wish there was a lil more in the beta.. but cant complain... for what it has... its good =]

I think is irrelevant right now since Second Life is pretty much done for. But it's not bad.
I know they will charge us for EVERY ITEM (or any cool item :P) but that's Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo/*add corporation*.
What I need is a headset, why didn't Sony launch one? I'd rather have an official PS3 headset than having to buy a Bluetooth one and have it not work or have bad quality audio.

There is a PS3 blue-tooth. You can get it with Socom or I think buy it separately. I hear it sucks though because it's big, clunky, falls out of your ear a lot. My little motorolla blue-tooth is awesome and it works great and sounds good. You could use whatever head-set you used for the PS2...that's what a lot of people I know do.

any usb headset, and like 98% of bluetooth headsets work.. I use my Sony Ericson bluetooth headset.. it was like 45 bucks and it's pretty good, comfy on the ear.. and works well.
as for this Home Beta... I still didn't get a code ._. I give up on betas all together.. only beta's I've been in were Socom, which I got from a friend, and Resistance 2, which I got like 3 days before the release.. lawl.
