I love knowing about everyone's work/plans for work, so I figured I'd start a thread about it :D
Right now I'm working as a phone girl (that's the job title but I do wayyyy more than that) at a pizza place.
I'm only a sophomore right now, but I plan on going to college for Culinary Arts so I can hopefully open up my own cafe/restraunt some day.
My dream job/fun job I would like to do for a while is to be a tatoo artist. Art is a huge part of my life and I love tattoo's so I figured it'd be a fun job to maybe pay off college bills or something.
Feel free to post whatever you want about your job/schools. What job you have, want, dream of having, is cool. What school you're at, want to go to, what you want to major in, etc...

well . . . i'm gonna be a senior in high school this year . . . can't wait to graduate. currently i'm a shipping assistant at HydroPhoton, Inc. . . . we make the SteriPEN . . . (www.steripen.com). . . it's a water purifier . . . the jobs really boring but pays well.
i'm not really sure what i wanna do yet . . . but i do have an idea . . .i think i wanna do a mixture of film and computer work . . . i'm thinking maybe a visual effects person or something .. . idk, i love film and i love editing on computers .. . so someone in post-production, maybe? but seriously, u could give me a tape of footage and i could sit for hours playing around w/it, trying different music and effects, u know?
lol . .. that's cool u wanna make your own restaurant .. . omg, i can't cook worth **** . . . yeah. i'm sure you're a lot better! make sure u invite me to your restaurant when it opens :)

I'm going to be a junior in high school.
I just auditioned to be the singer for a band called Verge Of Submission. They can be heard here (http://www.myspace.com/vergeofsubmission).
Hopefully I get it and we'll play shows and stuff and make money? Yes. I hope so.
I would also really love to go to college in southern Cali for photography to work for National Geographic.
That is, if I'm not a world-dominating rock star by then ;] hehe just kiddin.
i'm going to be a junior in high school. my current job is being a the head artist over at http://dpad.gotfrag.com as well as doing logos and such for different companies/people. i also might be doing the coverart for my cousin's band's CD.

I just graduated highschool. College may be in my near future [winter, most likely] but right now im living with my dad & working at a grocery store [Krogers!] soo yeah just being a bum. Trying to get 40 hours in a week, yey.

Going for my GED early September.. Have job orientation tomorrow for working for AAFES (Army and Air Force Exchange Service), which could land me a job at anything here on-base.

I'm going to be a Freshman at Purdue University Calumet in like... 2 weeks. I just got my classes today actually =) I'm currently majoring in Public Relations but I might change to Marketing. :p

I'll be a sophomore at my high school. I'm not sure where I'll go to college, but I'm a-look-in'.
As for job-wise, I'll be applying to Best Buy/Gamestop once I turn sixteen.

sophmore at Drake Universtiy, double majoring in graphic design and management. Active in business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi, and working part time at Best Buy. Internship at MS next summer. w00t.
I'm studying International Relations, no idea what I'm going to do with the degree afterwards. Probably just something standard until something comes along that is able to utilize my knowledge of foreign affairs.

I still haven't really decided where my career should be. Law enforcement, game design, filmmaking... all of which I'm really interested in.
The XNA device will let me see if game design is where I want to be, whereas I just go a capture device, so filmmaking is easier. Just split, really. I can still design games and make small films like I do now...

Going to center for arts and technology to become an audio engineer ( basically record for bands, video games etc.) Dream job / still working on it is becoming a professional paintball player!!!! yay o and........im a ninja so...that should be no problem!!! :D

I'm a Jr. at Purcell Highschool and currently work for a local car dealership as the asisstant parts manager. I have already visited the campus at University of Denver (Colorado), and am set to become an orthopedic surgeon in the next 11-14 years. :D
Sophomore at Clarkson University. Majoring in Interdisciplinary Engineering and Management and minoring in Electrical Engineering. Also in the honors program. Spent this summer at Lutron Electronics, they make really high quality dimming systems, from home stuff to huge scale. Michael Jordan's house, The Guggenheim museum, Taiepi 101 tower, Legoland Germany, Statue of Liberty...you get the idea. In addition I like swimming, running, biking, pina coladas, and taking long walks on the beach (even in the rain). ;)

This year going to be a senior at CVTC = Chippew Valley Technical College over in Wisconsin where im double majoring in Programming & Networking. Im going to finish both this year.

I'll be a Senior in High School this year, and cant wait to graduate. Im planning to take a year or so off after HS. After that I want to study some graphic design and I have an strong interest in film so maybe i'll pursue that as well. As for work... Im qualified as both a little league umpire (baseball season is over, but fall-ball is coming up quick), and as a life guard (no clue why though, it was just something to do). I also mow my neighbor's lawn every week or so, and have applied at some game stores around town and hopefully some of them will come through.

I am a senior in High School this year, and I work the night shift at the grocery store... I am a stock crew guy... After high school this year I plan on going to collage next fall. I really don't know what I want to do for a job after collage... I would enjoy something in art... a graphic arts job would be enjoyable.. I don't really know yet but what ever it is I plan on having fun and enjoying my job...:cool:
