For me the TV show I what say it's Robotech. A classic anime TV series and still one of my 10 favorite.
For me the first Anime Movie I seen was the Vampire Hunter D.
I liked that movie alot and I started buying anime after that starting with stuff like Record of Lodess War and Project A-KO.

I love Ranma and Vampire Hunter D :D I spent so much time watching Ranma and the panda is so kl.

I got into manga and anime when I was about 7 when I was given a truck load of company test videos by one of my mums friends so I basically grew up watching them the whole time :mvcelebration: I have cupboards filled with videos lol.

My favourites are probably the Guyver series and the Venus Wars film, but I also love the more cheery ones like Tenchi Muyo. I think I have a slightly unhealthy obsession with manga lol :mvboogie:

My Neighbour Totoro has to be my all time favourite anime film. Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli rule!

(or Los Caballeros del Zodiaco, Les Chevaliers Du Zodiaque, Knights of the Zodiac, Il Cavalieri Dello Zodiaco). i have seen that anime in all of those languages and my first anime movie was also from that series. i forget the name but it was the one where they fight some chick who has a golden apple and a bunch of other knights who are dopplegangers of the original 5. This anime pwns any other anime... no contest.

Sure, I watched animes when i was little such as pokemon, a little later DB and DBZ, but I didn't even know it was called that until the beginning of ninth grade. A friend showed me her favorite series, Fruits Basket, I fell in love with it because, I actually cried in the end. episodes 24-26 were way too emotional, and Momiji is just plain funny! XD I've drifted away from anime and lean more toward manga since it covers more. My favorites are (in order) Fruits Basket, Full Moon Wo Sagashite, and Tsubasa: Those With Wings (different than the series by Clamp)

and yes, I seriously did cry. My mom thought I had been hurt or something. It was the first show that ever got my tearing like that.

I love romances and romance comedies, but then again, I love Action and drama and Fantasy... but sometimes I think "Those two would make a really cute couple."

Dragonball Z was the first anime I watched back in the 90's. But I rarely got a chance to watch it back when it was on Toonami, because my (younger) sister would throw a fit because it came on the same time as Full House and she got her way most of the time. And it seemed to me that whenever I did get to watch DBZ it seemed to be the same episode every time, lol.

But my favorite anime I've watched completely was .hack//SIGN. I met my husband online, and part of the plot included a couple who had met online in "The World". But yeah it was a really cool show to watch.

The 5 films got me into anime are The Gundam Wing Movies, (there's one called 'Endless Dreams' maybe??), Fatal Fury: The Movie, The ENTIRE Record of the Lodoss War, and this is a hard one to find, but Galaxy Express 999, and return to Galaxy Express, I think it was, I know it was the sequel.

Twelve years ago, I was in 6th grade and Pokemon was the craze. I had a red pokemon card holder with pikachu on the front and someone stole it at school while we had a fire drill...you talk about mad..

Then by 7th grade, TENCHI MUYO came to toonami and I started drawing anime ever since. And my love for anime has continued to grow through all these years. Tenchi is still my favorite of all time.

Four years ago I got into Bleach, and that's how my bf/fiance got a conversation started on myspace. He saw I liked anime. hehe. It's good to know anime brings people together. :)

I would have to say DBZ, salior moon, gundam, and outlaw star. Back in the days i would rush home after school to catch the hour block on toonami of DBZ. Classic! lol but those shows actually got me into the world of anime.
