Someone tell me how Ninety Nine Nights is.

I'm looking to get another 360 game, but I don't know which to invest in. I'm lookin at Dead Rising, Prey, NCAA Football 07, or Ninety Nine Nights.

Any advice?

well the N3 demo was good. but if you read reviews it is said that the game is nothing like the demo. and it got like 5.9 out of 10

http://www.gamespot.com/search.html?type=11&stype=all&tag=search%3Bbutton&qs=ninety+nine+nights&x=0&y=0

so i wouldnt risk spending 60 on it.
also i have Prey. not worth 60 either, i beat it in 6 hours, and the multiplayer is mediocre.
from what my friend's say (not a sports gamer), ncaa is terrible, and the graphics are worse than xbox1.
dead rising, well you know my input on that. out of those games, your safest bet would be dead rising, being that all of them are 60 bucks

So is Prey even worth a rental?

I got bored with the N3 demo - so the reviews I have been seeing pretty much are confirming my original impression.

yes i would give prey a rent, not a buy. seeing as the single player is pretty good, but with no replay value, and it only being 6 hours, not worth a buy. i'll probably sell it soon so i can get gears of war.

Any other games out there worth buying?

I have CoD2, Condemned, Tiger Woods, NFSU2, Madden, and Hitman.

Depends on your tastes but - Dead Rising, Ghost Recon, Oblivion, Tomb Raider (short) and Chromehounds are all good games that have gotten a ton of play on my system.

Oh ya, I have GRAW and Oblivion too.

I tried Chromehounds at E3, but didn't like it too much. What are the ups and downs?

The graphics blow the Xbox1 version out of the water. It has jaggies, but it is still a good looking game. I would wait and buy NCAA 2008 on the 360 though. It seems like the process may be the same as with Madden on the 360 (first year, not so great. second, looking good).

Not that it is a big deal, but Ninety Nine Nights is actually $50. Even with the bad reviews, I am still considering getting the game, but the reviews are making me think about it at least.

Personally, I'd go with either Dead Rising or Prey. Dead Rising would give you the longer single player experience since there's reasons to play it multiple times. With that in mind, out of the two I suggested, Dead Rising would be first.

Thanks people!

I'm lookin for a good single player experience. So Dead Rising is lookin good.

^yup, Dead Rising FTW, but if you want a quick rental Tomb Raider actually isn't too bad, but you have to realize that the shooting is god awful in damn near every way. Well, not that bad but it is pretty bad. It does have so ingenius puzzles you have to really think about and the platforming in Tomb Raider is very well done.

So here's the shopping list:

Buy! = Dead Rising

Rent! = Tomb Raider: Legend

Downs - slow single player story - that is some what needed to be played through in order to unlock the best parts

Ups - the online squad play in the war is fantastic, building hounds, the variety of hounds and options you can play with, the team work needed to win battles and the over all addictive nature of the online play, the draw distance, and the very cool night battles and gun flashes - you can see where the battles are far way due to trace fire and distant flashes

The online play sounds sweet.

Hm......
