Ok so my friend and I are in a little bit of a arguement right now about which game was really better as an rpg. It is between Kings Quest VI the Sierra computer game classic and Shadowrun for the sega genesis. I don't know how many of you have played either of the games but they both were amazing.

So let me know your opinion if qualified, meaning you actually have played either of the games.

Was KQ VI the one where you start off on a dirt road? O.o

wow i should have resized huh? I think it was on dirt road. It had the stick in the mud, rotten tomato, and the hole in the wall. When you die you go to the underworld. It was so amazing.

KQVI isn't a RPG really though - it's a classic adventure. I never played Shadowrun but I'm inclined to think that KQVI is better just because it's one of the best games out there. :P

Yes, the start is something like a dirt road, though technically the first screen is a beach - the next screen is where you're on a forking dirt road - one road leads to the castle, the other to town. You play as Alexander, the prince of Daventry.

Yeah that game was fun! ALMOST as fun as Indiana Jones and the Lost City of Atlantis!

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis was a game released far before its time. Few people understand the sheer GENIUS that was that game.
