I guess. Some people are all fanboy about CoD4 but for us normal people... I would totally join a CoD5 Div :)

I can't answer for the PMS side honestly, but the H2O NA side is already working on converting the division from CoD4 to simply CoD until the decision is made whether or not the game will be a big enough hit to convert the division entirely over to CoD WW.

to quote something I posted in the division leaders decision forum:

If GB (MLG) or someone else still supports CoD4 in competitive ladder, then for sure! BUT if the ladders are dead or even killed by GB (currently the one that H2O CoD4 xbox NA competes in) then we won't continue CoD4.. there is no point.. and nothing for the members to "make hours" for."

You also have to consider COD6 dropping late 2009. That will put the final nail in COD4's coffin I think.

Well you know GB is going to have a Ladder on it. The only thing for sure though is that its not Going to be MLG or that high on the competitive tables.

well.. IDK.. you're probably right, but we'll see.. all our division is concerned with at this point is GB since thats where most of us compete.. we have a CoD4 MLG team preparing to go either way.

There is no MLG and rockstar and tb are about the only sponsers willing to drop dough into it, and thats mainly on statewide tourneys and very few national tournies. Correct me if im wrong but a MLG COD4 Team is like saying your CAL I for CS. Its saying Your Good but theres nothing else for ya lol.

Well actually I think they're done running MLG Online Tourneys for CoD 4. They've already ran 3 of them and most of the "Pros" are moving onto either GoW 2 or WaW. So I doubt they'll run another if there aren't any good players to play in it. Then again I'm speculating it's up to GB. :mvconfused: Hopefully they'll run another IF they do I got a team waiting to compete. :mvdj:

In a lot of interviews it seemed like they WERE trying to get it to be a MLG game. Hopefully they do get the into MLG. That would be sweet.

idk so far i think cod5 is jst like cod4 but with different maps and guns. same concept in game types and all. i'm actually looking forward to playing the story mode.

my team is actually learning to play regular again since we've been playing hardcore for so long and now running strats just for the mlg maps and game types for cod4. we're setting up for the '09 season. i know our guy team is going to participate in a lan tourney next month in vegas and hopefully my team will be ready to participate next year.

but i mean going forward cod5 so far seems easy to pick up since it's so similar. i've already got down the few maps that are on the beta and the thompson with that lil black site similar to the red dot site and the m1 grand is what i've been using.

that was exactly the whole point. the cod4 online pretty much hit the perfect mix of everything. one of the best online games IMO. so why change that with the sequel. They added a bunch of new perks, a lot of different gameplay elements. and well just from the beta, TERRIBLE spawns. but that's fixable so we wont talk about that hah.
i'm NOT looking forward to the single player, im completely done with WWII crap. i'll play through it just for the achievements, but could care less about it.
With the spawn's being so bad, me and my friends (i'd say my team but dont know yet) have already got spawn camping/locking down on all the maps, friend went 95 and 7 or something like that spawn locking on roundhouse with the knife. pretty smexy

That was so fun to watch. Luke, you should see how good we got spawn locks on Castle now. It's horrible. Force them to spawn in 3 areas. No where else. Just sit there swinging the knife. =] Banks got his K/D to 3.10. We are all over 2.60 except for you and Lefty!!

I want to start a PMS CoD: WaW division. Just waiting to see if the CoD4 division is going to switch over or not. If they do then the current leadership will stay in place. If not, I am going to put in the application for the new division if we have enough PMS ladies that want to make it a division. There has to be 7 ladies other than me who want to be in the division.

I've been pretty much playing this and Dead Space for the past week. I know this game is much more fun than my current main game Halo 3. Halo 3 makes me want to rip my own head off. Not even kidding. -_-
