This means I'm getting a new GT (cancelling my old account). I don't know what this is going to do to my chances of getting on PMS though . .. . I'm on Recruits right now, but I haven't been able to get on for the past two days due to annoying parents and network problems. How should I go about getting back into it once i have a 360?

XBOX 360 eh.. Honestly, I wouldn't waste your money on it ;)
There are still problems with it due to overheating and dust getting into it through the bottom.
Though, if you do decide to get one, I would recommend you keep it on a stand vertically, this would keep dust out from the insides of it, and further keeping your hardware components in a nice working condition :)

really? mine sits on its side ALL day and ALL night, EVERY time i play it. and i have no problems what so ever with it. and mine was one of the first ones made.
i have even left my 360 on for over 10 hours, and still i had no overheating problems what so ever. really, as long as you keep it in good condition, dont bash it around, there truely is nothing wrong with it.
however i do agree to not wasting money on it because the games suck on it. and all the best games for it are PC ports. but meh.

I have had mine horizontal since I got it, have used it a ton, and haven't had any problems with it either.
I disagree about the games sucking on it and that all the best games are just PC ports, but that's an argument I'd rather not get into.

December '05, and I have yet to experience any problems with it. It's overheated once, but that was due to the fact that 1) it was hot as hell that day, and the room was badly ventilated 2) The 360 was standing close to my PC (and more important, close to the GFX card which gets rather hot).
As long as you use common sense you shoudn't have any problems - and I keep my horizontal, I had some drunk girl trip over my 360 at a party and got my first copy of PGR3 ruined. Again, common sense would've helped, but common sense is void after a couple of shots... :p

well, if you want to make a new name, then make a new name, but you can always take your old name from the xbox and account recovery it to your 360., srry if someone already said that, i didnt read all the replys

Yeah I have crappy Adelphia. We used to have the upgraded serivce (before we moved) and I think it was something like 18 extra dollars. It was nice, I wish we had it now... lol

but guess what y'all (lol) . . . I JUST WON A 360 ON EBAY!!!!!! (lol, only for $5 less then the retail price, but still!) it's a 4th generation!!!! i'm soooooo stoked right now b/c it'll be here within this week! HOORAY!:D

I've had my 350 sense December (I had it on layaway for a while cuz I was getting $5,000 in the mail:p ) anyways yeah I haven't had any problems wiht my xbox. execpt it kept freezing this one day. Then it quit :) yay

Both suck. PDZ can be fun in multiplayer, but it did not live up to it's hype. DOA4 got messed up due to the controller, and I think that the learning curve on this game can kill - I've got some Tekken-addicted friends, and even they thought that game was messed up.

totally agree PEEDEEZEE is really bad. and DOA4 was ok but meh.

PD:Z was too fastpace, I dont see how people enjoy
DOA4 Graphics are amazing, but the gameplay is so aggravating and fustrating(AKA The "Alpha-182") that it makes you not wanna play it...

If you're into fighting games, I actually would give DOA4 a shot. Some people may not like it, but I've really enjoyed it since it came out. It can take a while to get good at it, but that's not a bad thing at all in my opinion. The game can be a lot of fun online with a good group of people.

I like PDZ's multiplayer, takes more practice to get headshots, so that's good! I find the gametypes really fun, but that's just me. Campaign is terrible though.
DOA 4 takes a huge amount of dedication to master, one of the most frustrating games due to it's difficulty!

Next year,like late jan/feb the first .65 nanomeiter 360's arrive.What's better?Simple,
right now it's a .95 nanomeiter chipset meaning bigger processors=more heat while the smaller processors will generate far less heat.
They should've started with the cooler running system but if you don't have 1 and can wait 8-9 months your 360 will be a better/cooler running system.
Well, its one thing to say "GET GRAW" and its another thing to just spend 60+ dollars on a video game that eventually is going to go to waste...
...come to think of it, I just wasted 400 dollars on a 360

Fighters aren't my favorite game type (below say god of war ,halo,metroid or zelda)
but playing against others is what they're built for.
Perfect dark's a great title @ $49 or less but right now the 2 best games are:GRAW
and CALL OF DUTY-GAME OF THE YEAR EDITION with OBLIVION close behind.
Oblivion's a rpg that's single player only while the others have multi-player conponents and single player. 5000 ms points-$62.50 and i'm currently
getting graw's chapter 2 content...so is every1 else as it's kinda slow downloading.
I can't wait for lumines live though i hope it's not 1,200 points as reported.
I've already got it on psp so i know it's a great title literlly tetris 2.0-the new standard....and it's online multiplayer as well...360 version.

I really wanted a 360 exspecially to carry on playing with all the rest of the girls who have one but now i'm not sure. Just what is there to offer....really. There are about 4 good games at a push and your looking at most of the games are fps's.....
Ok this rant has just gone out the window. I just started thinking about BF2 and started to drool. The rant and advice will carry on later *runs off to hug her xbox copy*
