Im standing here right in front of you,
You're staring right at me, but you don't see me
All you see is discrepancy
As you gaze on through
I'm screaming, I'm yearning inside,
These feelings I cannot hide
This emptiness builds a fire,
That grows intensely higher
And bids me pain that i must bide
Here I am, looking back at you,
Gazing through your glass eyes
There i find nothing of me
And of me, you think of lies
How can i make u understand
Heaven is every silky strand of hair
Complimented by velvety smooth skin
The very thought of it, puts me in despair
Those perfect curves, glowing smile
Almost everything about you
Is a sight unforgettably worthwhile
But alas i find a flaw, its true
Whilst you see nothing in my soul
I'm nothing to you as a whole.
My existence meaningless,
My resolve worthless
All because you are the moon
and I am the wolf
Shouting out my tune
To a mere glass eye
Lighting up the night sky.
Here I lay years down the road,
Still staring at your eternal beauty
Now, too broken, too old
I ask of you one and only duty
Be there when i die, light up my sky
with that face of serenity.
You're staring right at me, but you don't see me
