Dragon Lady Ash

Hello everyone. I recently changed my gamertag to Dragon Lady Ash, but I have been known as Echo Fox 1980 for the longest time. You can call me Ashley, Ash, Echo, or whatever else strikes your fancy.
I'd really like to join PMS. I've read the rules and sent a message to the right person. Now I just wait patiently and anxiously.
I'm pretty tough on the outside, but inside I'm a very sensitive girl. Most of the people who play console games online are boys. And most of them aren't very nice. I put up my emotional shields to deal with this, but these guys really put it to the test. Even when they're on the same team, they really don't care.
But I'm fortunate to have some friends who do show respect and make me feel good about myself. When I play with these people, that's when my kill count goes way up! That's why I think it's important to encourage each other and work together as a team.
I consider myself a Halo tactician. I stay awake late thinking of different strategies to different maps and game types. I spend hours alone with a spare controller looking for unique sniper locations. I've even developed a method of long-range artillery bombardment with the Wraith and a scout/spotter, among other things.
My Halo 3 playing style is usually sneaky, but I can run and gun if necessary. I'm best with mid-range weapons such as the BR or Carbine. Long range sniping is my second best skill, particularly if I find a good hiding spot. Unfortunately, in extreme close combat, I am often at a loss.
In my non-gaming life, I work at a pizza place. I'm potentially up for a management position, so I'm a little excited, but I don't want to get my hopes up too high.
I'm also a musician. I started out on drums and percussion in high school, but I have recently started learning electric guitar. One of my dreams is to do this professionally, but I know I have a long way to go.
I don't speak very often, but when I do, I try to make it profoundly wise or suddenly funny, depending on the situation. But, I do not "trash talk" or otherwise speak poorly to others. I've tried it, and I really don't like it. It makes me feel worse than if someone was speaking poorly to me.
Anyway, my gamertag is the same as this forum name, Dragon Lady Ash. I mostly play Halo 3 but will have more once I can afford it.
