yes, boarderlands is online play. but not competitive online. it's you and three other friends run around on this planet called Pandora and you try to find the vault. It's an FPS RPG game. You do quest and stuff.

You know what I really miss? I miss the CoD4 days with us PS3 players. And I remember that it wasn't as stupid as MW2 with unlimited grenade launchers, Heart beat sensor and just hide everywhere, and thermal.

I remember sniping took skill, well, as much skill as snipers had anyways. Where to find someone hiding in a grass took a good eye instead of thermal finding everyone. And if u had a grenade launcher you only had 2. Just 2 and taking other players can't get anymore. I could keep complaining but I guess I shouldn't. I sound stupid complaining lol

1 thing I really missed before the price drop of the PS3, that all the clan members were usually polite to each other. I remember going against a clan in a public match who bitched at us because they thought we were cheating but after doing a private match they admit defeat and we were cool with each other. instead of everyone always bitching after every game weather they lost or won. Now I just hear kids yelling in every room that we're too old to play and we suck ect.

I Agree 100% with you Kuro.
Nothing can ever beat the old days on CoD4.
There were a few dickheads, but no where near as many as there are now. I think a bunch of the guys from the old CoD4 Division should get together and deliver some epic ownage.

lol? :mvconfused: shes not kidding. it's true. this is the function of the "life with playstation" software that you access @ the xmb. millions of ps3's work in concert with one another to create a sort of "super" computer. heck, the military ordered 300 ps3's just so they could have access to the cheap cell processer inside. who knows what theyre doing with them but at least they didnt buy 300 xbox's. haha! i apoligize if you already knew this and i took your comment the wrong way. :mvsmile:

It's not for cancer is it? It's for molecular research, doing loads of calculations. Although limited calculations, however it does it as the same speed as a super computer, just not as much range. It is a good thing tho, but i don't think it's related to cancer.

the stanford university project called "folding @ home" is related to folding protiens which they believe could one day find cures for a lot of different diseases, including cancer. at least that was the way it was presented to me when i looked at the "about the project" part of the software on the stanford university site accessed through the ps3 :mvsmile:
