Umm.. Halo 4???

They are making new game, and people are rumoring that it might be Halo 4. No solid proof or official statements from Gearbox, Bungie, or Microsoft.

It's not by Bungie Studios. So I'm not buying it. Microsoft made a huge mistake by doing that with the Halo rights.

I've just read rumors about this being the case.. was seeing what everyone else knew lol.. I mean based on all the money the last 3 halo games have made.. why wouldnt they make a 4th? Just sayin.. And there is going to be a new game based around the Halo universe, but it won't be revolved solely around Master Chief or UNSC and it won't be called Halo 4. And Gearbox is making the next game

:O I LOVED the Arbiter... and playing as him in Halo 2 :/ It was nice to get to see another side of the story. I was All for the Arbiter and Elites in H2 until I learned they were easier to snipe in the head in multiplayer :x

Gearbox has said they're working on a major project in addition to Borderlands and the new Aliens title, but haven't said anything more than that. All of the news out there that they're making a Halo game is pure speculation, and neither Gearbox nor Microsoft have said anything that confirms the project is related to Halo in any form.

We know about Halo Wars, Peter Jackson's Halo title is also still in development, and Microsoft has said that Halo is a franchise that they will continue to expand on, but other than that we don't have many solid leads on future Halo games. There is an enormous number of rumors out there, but that's all they are, rumors.

That said, the Superintendent posts that have appeared on bungie.net in the last week seem to indicate that whatever that project is, it's also related to Halo in some way.

The rumor that Gearbox is making Halo 4 came from an assumption over a job posting by one of the leads for Gearbox. It basicly said " Once you figure out what it is you'll want on this team. Trust me I can't over sell this one." That is what started the rumor because people assumed it would be a major existing ip. Also since Gearbox did the port of Halo1 to the pc, some people would expect them to be the next people in line from Bungie.

There have been several rumors regarding the next Halo game. Don Matrick, after E3, had already said that bungie is working on a Halo game. There's been rumors that the next Halo game could be a squad based shooter and even some saying a Halo MMO was in the works(which it was at Ensemble, thank god it didn't make it). Microsoft has been putting together its own Halo team now, so it will be hard to say what exactly the future holds for Halo. Lets just hope they don't run it into the ground.

I do agree a Halo squad based shooter would be pretty sweet. I'm hoping for something thats in the lines and feel of the live action Halo shorts. I loved GRAW so a Halo version would mean I would never have to by another game again.

I wish they would make a prequel instead of a sequel to the game. It would be so awesome to play as Kirk and others, and fight on that one planet ( its been for ever since I read the books, I have bad memory problems) some of u know what I'm talking about. The game has gone down hill after every title and I think this is there only chance to get there shi* together. Yes this Halo trilogy is over, and there planning on making others. Creating a prequel trilogy to the original would be a smart move for Bungie. What do u think?

if there is gunna be halo4 i say YES YES YES!!!! and i dont see how the story was ended in halo 3...as long as master chief is still alive then it's not over!!!! lol i would so love a new co-op to beat and a new way of doing multiplayer with brand new maps and stuff! i mean how long can we play halo3? they have to make another one and a strategy game doesnt count! strategy games SUCK! they need to make a new halo FPS for xbox 360. i would so buy it!!! :mvclap:

supposed from rumors and theory's what spartan said that with the new campaign that it should come out i believe around January 9th they had a little thing in the new trailer that i saw when they stopped the video forgot link sorry but it showed a date that might be the release what i also believe in is that on that date they will be releasing the new maps for H3 because they usually say more about there maps that is my idea's. And for a halo 4 i could see that but what i also heard is that it might be like a Halo Chronicles which to me kinda sounds stupid but again these are all rumors

I think the rumors were for Halo: ODST (which was first known as Halo: Recon), but people thought it was clues to Halo 4.

I'm really interested in seeing what Halo: ODST will play like, guess we'll see Xmas 09!
