Ok I seriously cannot wait for this to hit XBL Arcade. I loved this game so much on PSP, I downloaded on my cellphone as well. 10x better than Tetris and insanely addictive!!! This one will be well worth it :D

I agree... it's amazing how fun and addictive this game is. I have seen quite a few people try it out only to spend a LOT of time playing.

I'e never gotten around to trying this on the PSP (probably because I don't own one), so I'm not as super-psyched about this game, but I'll most certainly give the trial a go after all the praise it's gotten.

I'll definately be getting the game when it comes out on the Arcade. I've never gotten to play it either, but it's an updated version of a highly regarded game that will be supported with new content and such a ton, so I'm not too worried about its quality. It may not seem like much at first, but the versus online multiplayer should really help Lumines Live out as well.

This is quite possibly the best puzzle game ever! When I worked at gamestop, we would have a weekly wireless tournaments and I would own kids left and/or right. My top 6 (5 is so cliche) puzzle games are (In order of favoritism):
Lumines
Warios Woods
Magical Drop 3 ( or Astropop, which is a bootleg version)
Chu Chu Rocket
Tetris Attack (Pms Sheryl owns me though)
Wetrix

I played it at the Microsoft afterparty the day of the conference at E3.
Its a bit difficult to control with the analog sticks, but you get adjusted. Of course, it looks great.

Lumines Live is coming out tomorrow. It also looks like those rumor started by OXM of having to pay for parts of the game to finish it are false...

I played the PSP version and took it back the same day, it might be better on a console but I'll be checking the rain on this one.

Lumines was supposed to be the Tetris beater on the PSP, people liked it and it would seem microsoft cashed in as usual.
You destroy little squares by dropping other blocks of the same colour onto them whilst a little bar thing flies across the screen.

Well there's good news and bad...first the good:it's finally out. Sadly the bad's about
the price @1200 points you'd expect the "full game" to be all there but you'd be wrong.
They've already put up the advanced pack for another 600 points and we still don't have
the complete game. As a great game you'd think it would've been handled properlly
not haphazardlly. At this rate a map pack in halo 3 won't come with the "full "map but only
25% of the full map and they'll bleed you for every piece you get.
I've got to say i'm surprised as you unlock new content/boards you can't start at the last unlocked level...imagine pac-man but every time you die you're forced to start at level 1..
not good. I'm disapointed that achievements arn't more intelligent as well.
There's alot of time attack stuff but nary a unlocked x new board which would've made more sense and given gamers a sense of acomplishment.
As a game lumines gets an A but as an xbla game: value-D ,achievements-D ,online-B
fun-A making it a C - overall -poor decisions by q entertainment and microsoft dampen what should've been another AAA+ live arcade release....too bad.
