View Full Version : Ask Me!

Sir Tequila
08-08-2006, 08:13 PM
Ask me any question, within forum guidelines (a.k.a. appropriate for all ages), and I shall answer truthfully. Why am I doing this? 'Cause I'm bored... :)

So, ask away. Rawr.

Why are you my hero?

Sir Tequila
08-08-2006, 08:16 PM
To be honest, I'm not sure. I'd ask you, but this is a thread about people asking me things, not the other way around.

So, it's probably because of my unrelenting wit.

PMS Evil

What does that mean?

Sir Tequila
08-08-2006, 08:19 PM

Sir Tequila
08-08-2006, 08:24 PM
Why do my feet hurt?
Chances are your feet hurt because of a certian reason buried deep within your mind. Only ye know the answer, but you persist on asking me for some unknown reason. I cannot answer that, only that I believe you've been running through my mind all...wait, that's a pick-up line. Never mind.

@Evil: Don't cry! *Teh huggles.*

Why did a stub my toe?

Sir Tequila
08-08-2006, 08:32 PM
That's a great question. Why did a stub your toe? Hm... I believe a stub was angry at your toe, and instead of pimping teh toe, it simply "a stub"-ed it.

It's an optical illusion. Do you want to try to catch a bullet in your teeth like that one guy? No, not really.

whats your take on coincidences?

i think they are nothing more than a simple probability. sort of like rolling dice and landing a certain combination, like its bound to happen and its all depending on a ratio that gets smaller or bigger by your actions.

soooo i guess im saying the actions base what you will recieve.. i think i just confused myself.
but really this is a deep conversation i would like to have with someone.

PMS Evil

This is a great question. My take on it is that everything happens for a reason. Like if you meet an ex-flame in the Bahamas, there's a purpose driving both of you, involving each other, without either of you knowing it.

A coincidence such as maybe, getting four no-scopes as soon as you start playing Halo 2 for the day, or something...maybe it's a miracle. I'm not saying anything bad, of course.

This should be longer, but I'm in a spamming mood right now. Still, great question and I will answer it more indepth the next time.

PMS Evil

disagreements are actually good most of the time!

Sir Tequila

Disagreements usually broaden your knowledge of the opposing sides information as well. It's good for debates.

alright sounds good.
but id just like to throw in that saying everything happens for a reason brings in a religious point of view, whether you are religious or not i think that route is a wrong way to go.

that would mean someone is controlling our lives and we have no freedom.

there are 3+ events in a "coincidence"

1) is the event that is determined by an action.
2) the event that happens or doesnt happen depending on what you did to cause it.
3) how it finishes or doesnt finish adding more things to change the ratio.

everything you do in your life day to day is like watching a movie with alternate endings. id like to think we have total freedom of our decisions and nothing is chosen for us.

over all i feel that the coincidence is pure math.
wooooooooooooooot, i think this conversation could actually go somewhere!

Well, I'm not religious, but there must be some sort of system that is mixing and matching random things.

Family Guy is a good example. The creator, Seth McFarlane, was due on a plane the morning of September 11th, 2001. He, however, was late and missed the flight. Guess what? His show (both) are back on the air.

I should've replied to this when I was wide awake, not sleepy and witty. :p

hmmm.. trying to think of an example everyone would understand besides me. thats why i hate making examples haha.

ummm
ok!
say life is a huge wall of marbles. each marble is labled with some sort of action or decision we make in our daily lives. when you pull a marble out certain marbles are going to move down.

blah.. im going to get off i have to go to bed early (work)
but ill go more into detail on my stupid example tomorrow for sure lol

thanks for taking the time to making a somewhat serious approach to this :P
