Well everyone, as of lateit seemes like the channel has been a bit dead. Everyone should stop on by and say hello. I know many of you enjoyed the old chat that was inside the old forums and since that is gone just give this a chance.

For java chat just head on over to http://gamesurge.net/chat/
then type /nick YOURNICKNAMEHERE to select your username
and finally /join #pmsclan and there you go.

If we have a good vb coder, we could install an IRC popup on the forum that connects to the IRC chatroom. That way people don't have to bother with DLing an IRC program and writing in settings.

Well the previous chat was its own little room, instead of a popup that connected to the IRC channel. I know Athena liked it because it auto-logged itself, but plenty of people within the channel log as well.

It was because of lack of IRC Etiquette you were kicked, if someone finds something offensive you stop. I didn't give people a solution to make other people mad about it.

the pms irc channel basicly used as like another message board and people do actually go back to thier computers and read up on what people posted or see who pm them. Many people would post details that they want to scrim each other or share stuff.

Gyps has a whole section of it in those forum rules you agreed to before posting here, up in the navbar click on 'forum rules' and you'll find a very great definition in there.

Gothik, you must be on the wrong server, we've got about 30 idlers in it 24/7, its never empty. Make sure you're on the gamesurge network, channel is pmsclan.

Most people are just idling in it, there are spurts where people talk a ton, and other times where people are pretty quiet.

Either way, the chat on the forum here is just a java IRC client. So it still goes to the IRC. I wish more people would use the PMS/H2O IRC, I am constantly on the Halo community irc (irc.bungie.org), so it would make sense to be on the PMS/H2O one. :)
