Ok, so I need some help on which to get. I know they are very different for very different types of gamers but would appreciate your advice from those who own either one.

Basically, I am really looking for something I can bring to work and play on lunch, or very occassionally if I go out somewhere or on a trip. I probably won't play much at all at home, as already don't have enough time for PC/360. I do tend to prefer the better graphics if possible, and ability to play online. However, DS stuff is pretty original, but I like the idea of download video/games and internat.skype on PSP. So couple questions:

- How are the online multiplayer features for both? Can you usually find people to play?

- How bad is PSP screen in the sun? (i know psp-3000 comes out in October)

Thanks :)

I'd say DS. More multiplayer, interactive features, gotta love Pokemon =) and DS screen in the sun really doesn't make much a difference. It still looks good. Although the PSP is good for action games and stuff like that. It's also good, but the DS is for the relaxed gamer. If you like things like Syphon Filter Dark Mirror (Which is VERY good) then get it. But the DS packs in more playtime guaranteed.

PSP FTW! I heart my psp... but it is also modded so that may be why >.> I like the interwebs on the psp, of course you can only get on it in a wireless network, and I haven't done multiplayer really. The PSP plays movies as well, so that feature is a bonus for me!

I'm not a huge fan of the touch screen on ds.. it seems to kind of get in the way, and I've only liked a couple games that I've played with it.

Modded with what Custom Firmware? Yeah that's a good thing to have and another good reason to get a PSP. Really the PSP is the superior choice because of media and stuff but the DS is also good!

Hows your psp screen and response Jumper? Is it is bad as it is made out to be? Albeit I should really just wait for the 3000 if I were to get it but hey... I am impatient when it comes to toys lol :p

Very bad but it can be improved. I upgraded the LED lights in mine.
