FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

September 1s1 2008, San Antonio, TX –Hundreds of gamers proved they can think about more then the release of Rock Band 2 by helping to raise $6,000 for Child’s Play Charity (http://www.childsplaycharity.org/) in PMS Clan’s Charity Raffle Event at NVISION 2008.

Child’s Play is a game industry charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with toys and games in a network of over 40 hospitals worldwide.

Pulling together almost $3000 from the gamer raffle contributions (in which an Alienware Area 51 was the main prize), and with the NVIDIA Foundation (http://www.nvidia.com/object/corporate_c ommunity.html)more then matching the contributions to bring the total to $6000, the event was a great success. “This brings our total non-profit fundraisers PMS Clan has had an active part to over $40,000 in the last couple of years,” states Amber Dalton, PMS Clan Leader, “PMS Clan and our members take great pride in our efforts to aid non-profits organizations.”

The raffle tickets sales took place at the GeForce LAN (http://www.nvision2008.com/Enthusiasts/g eforce-lan.cfm) at NVSION in the Girl Gamer Zone hosted by PMS Clan, and the PMS ladies also held an evening Pajama Rama event for attendees each night in effort to help drive raffle sales and to give away over $15,000 of product and giveaways to the attendees. A special thank you goes out to all the Raffle contributors including Alienware (http://alienware.com/), Patriot Memory (http://www.patriotmem.com), Plantronics (http://plantronics.com/north_america/en_US/international.jhtml?localePage=locale.jhtml), NVIDIA (http://www.nvidia.com/page/home.html), The ECA (http://www.theeca.com), and Pro Gamer (http://www.progamer.net). An extra special thanks goes out to the NVIDA Foundation who matched all the gamer donations by more then 100%!

It was amazing how young people kicked in and bought $20, $50 $90 worth of tickets! The guy that won the Alienware Computer was about 25 y/o also won a case and donated that back to the group for a drawing! He purchased $90 worth of tickets himself! NVision matched half of what PMS sold to kick it up a notch! So the ladies actually sold $3000 worth of tickets! That is a lot of tickets! Way to go PMS and Nvision! But all of you out there that buy gaming systems and consoles know it will take a lot of events like this to help supply these sick kids with gaming gear! So keep it up! :)

Working so hard and long for this was definitely worth it. Thank you for everyone that helped us from selling tickets all day to the activities on the stage, you all really kept the momentum going even though some of us were dead tired or just plain exhausted.

Vinx thank you for staying up nights and helping me with graphics, Rip thank you for all your help getting in contact with product sponsors, Missy thank you for giving us your house and car to store thousands of dollars worth of items and for shuttling us back and forth, Vball, Lilli + the girls, Wedge, MacGrandma(and hubby) thank you all for being so active, standing at the Patriot booth and everywhere else selling tickets, helping us on the stage, bringing items to use during the PJ Rama, and most importantly..watching the stuff lol.

To our sponsors/partners: None of this would have been possible without your support and thank you for responding to me so quickly and so last minute sometimes lol.

For everyone that attended thank you for the support, for buying tickets, helping out with random things, and being there to fill up the area and making it look like PMS Clan is truly taking over the world.

Well Gypsy it was a blast! I had fun playing games and hoping up on stage smacking people with shirts and mousepads lol..My husband you just point and he helps anyone lol Just gotta ask him he loves it. Next year I say fill up rows 1,2, 3, & 4, or more! And hopefully it will be on a weekend next year! :) at $5 a ticket they sold 600 tickets that's 200 tickets a day!!! And first day was mostly set up and other stuff so tickets went more on day 2 and 3 I think. I was so amazed they couldn't keep up the pace hardly at the end! Each ticket had to have name phone and address to get the prizes to the winners so that takes a bit of time and to do that to 600 tickets! Really nice prizes not to mention schwag everyday all day too Thanks to our sponsors! I think next year we should double that goal and double the girls and guys that come! :)
