New style I'm trying out, tell me what you think.

"Poem For a Portrait of a Man"

The setting,
painter's scene,
a man sitting on a stool,
eyes that gleam,

four seasons represented by the winds,
West is Autumn, East is Spring,
a Northern Winter,
and East's Summer birds sing,

the man sitting on the stool,
eyes lined by crow's feet,
orbs that see everything,
but simply watch, do not seek,

a mouth that is young,
condition minted from lack of use,
eyes that see everything,
but comments not on his mind's muse

these rolling plains that do not stop,
aloof in the nothingness,
but one man sits on his stool,
everything else filled with bareness,

Poem for a Portrait of a Man,
waiting for the future his life demands.
