List concerts you have attended. Maybe mention your favorite, your least favorite. Who sounds the best live, who puts on the best performance. Who puts on the worst?

Billy Ray Cyrus -(Ft. Campbell, KY) when I was 4, back in '92.
Ween - July 8, 2008. (Louisville, KY) - Day before my 20th birthday.

Ween is amazing!! They put on a great show as well.
I don't remember Billy Ray.. haha.

Let's see...

The Police & Elvis Costello - May 13th, 2008
This was really fun, going to the Sprint Center and watching this. Elvis opened up, but while he sounded good, he's more of a club act than an arena act. Besides, people were more excited about the Police, and most of 'em didn't know any of his songs. Needless to say, I saw his agitation onstage when he failed to get the crowd going in a clap-along. XD
The Police were the main act, and really fun to listen to. They changed up the melodies of their songs, to make it sound both familiar and fresh. Most of the time these attempts fail, but they nailed it.

Rush - June 7th, 2008
Definitely the best-sounding live. You can go to a concert one night, buy a CD the next day, and listen to it while driving; it's exactly like the concert. The sound was downright bliss: we're talking perfection here, at least. They put on a really good show at the Starlight Ampitheatre, and it's arguably my favorite concert out of the two. Just alot more fun to be at, and the atmosphere had (surprisingly) fewer drunks than the Police concert did.

the best concert i was at would have to be soundgarden during the "superunknown" tour. they were incredible!
next to that i would say korn puts on a pretty amazing show as well. i saw them with "staind" live at the palace of auburn hills (MI) during the "untouchables" tour & was blown away!

When I was a teenager I saw Vanessa Carlton at Sea World San Antonio. It was ok I guess.. I mean she didn't sing bad or anything just my music tastes have changed/grown since and I was being such a teenage girl and kept spending time trying to take pictures of her hot looking guitarist guy.

As for the REAL concerts:

Saw all of them at the Foire aux Vins d' Alsace (http://www.foire-colmar.com/) in the city where I live in France. Kyo and KoRn were in 2006 I think? Nightwish was Aug. 13th of this year.

Kyo- French band, they are good but the concert sucked because it was full of tween girls.. apparently this is also why they stopped playing (rumor).
KoRn- Really great and awesome concert. I really enjoyed it.
Nightwish- Horrible. I just was a fan of Tarja... I went hoping Anette could at least sing her own songs but I didn't like them much. My blog about this concert (http://www.pmsclan.com/forum/blog.php?b=229).

Those are the only concerts I been to :x

Korn -my first real concert

nine inch nails x2 -my fav band, my fav shows ^_^
Twiztid-eh
Bone thugs N Harmony- excellent show
Janes Addiction- pretty awesome
Andrew W. K.- lmao, this guy knows how to party
MC Pee Pants- loud & obnoxious, but funny
Fly Leaf- yuck
Staind- sucked
Mastodon x2- BEST PIT ever, never seen a band so in tune with each other(highly recommend)
Powerman 5000- they talked too much
Static-X- another great pit, everyone on the floor fell(got knocked) down at least once
Dope-back when they were cool ^_^
Converge-most energetic singer ever

Death From Above 1979- not too shabby, but not so great either lol

there's a couple more but I can't think of them at the moment.

Best goes to NIN

I have only been to one concert, Lordi.

I was *totally* out of place, I am a nerd and I look it, shy and uncomfortable around crowds too. But I loved every minute of it. Lordi were awesome, they sound really good live. As I bought my tickets really early I got early entry and was about 2 meters from the stage, which was cool.

The crowd surprised me too. They all looked like big mean rockers but when I had a panic attack the ones around me checked if I was ok and made sure no one got too close for 10 mins till I was better.

My first concert was Breaking Benjamin @ The Sunken Gardens Theatre w/ Rev Theory and Sick Puppies... They are my second favorite band and they sound amazing live!

My most recent concert was Avenged Sevenfold @ The Illusions Theatre w/ Bullet for my Valentine and Three Days Grace... Avenged is my favorite band, this was my first time seeing them live and they are the best band ever live in my opinion, they are really funny, entertaining, and sound better live.

I use to go to every warped tour with a friend, but we've let the practice go. Got a little too "meh" for my taste.

Best concert I've ever attended was The Rolling Stones during the bigger bang tour. Epic!

A new RHCP album is coming soon, and I plan to check them out when they tour to support it. Have never seen them live, but are in my top 5 fave bands.

My favorite live show so far has been Slipknot. I really need to see Rob Zombie.

My favorite concert was "Big Day Out" in Nashville several years ago. Mudvayne opened, Disturbed next, Linkin Park (who received a massive boo from the crowd because no one wanted them at a hard rock concert; the singer threatened to not continue the set unless we cheered), Papa Roach, and then headlined by Slipknot.

My first proper concert was The Eagles farewell tour, it was pretty great, even if myself and my sister were the youngest people there.
I saw Metallica and Alice in Chains the next day at Download Festival, Avenged Sevenfold played also although I have to say I didn't like them at all.
Next gig was Bloc Party with Biffy Clyro and Foals, first time I got a pit pass and it was total bananas.
Since then I saw Zebrahead, Deerhoof and Adebisi Shank in a pub here called Whelans, really small crowds, maybe 100 people max, those were some of the greatest gigs I've been to since you could actually talk to the bands afterward.
I saw Radiohead with Bat for Lashes a few years ago and they were just fantastic.
The Mars Volta played here last year and they just blew my mind. I had listened to their live album before and it didn't seem to hold a candle to their studio recordings but they really proved me wrong.
Then I saw Tegan and Sara at an in-store at Tower Records with some friends.

I'd really like to see Tool live, I missed my chance at Download since they were playing the night the Eagles were and they haven't played here since.

Best band live by a long-shot was Enter Shikari. Best live performance I have ever seen. Their insane mix of techno, hardcore, and pumped up attitudes just kill in concerts. I have seen them every time they have to Florida just for that reason.
