I made a Logon screen for my computer. This is how it turned out. No more boring welcome screen for me!

I changed the logonui.exe file.

where is teh logonui.exe file at?
and if you change it, it just changes the picture right? and the sign in SN and stuff stay the same right? if so i would like to do this lol

Actually no. you have to hack the resources.
the file is in the Windows/system 32 folder. If you want the Avril thing I could send you my file. It should work.

no i was gonna make my own.
but now it seems to computer hacker hard for me.
if it was just like taking out the file, then just putting in a picture i would do it.
it would be really cool to have my own though :) :(

I believe there are certain programs that do it for you, but last time I looked into it they were crap, and you have to use premade ones which are ugly IMO.

yeah i have changed it before with a program, but i wiped my harddrive and didnt save the program, and i loved not having a boring welcome screen.
i'll search around for programs though.

Whoo! I made 4 more. All slightly different than the first one (because they are a pain in the a$$) and every time I restart my computer a random one comes up.

The cutting on a couple of the pics needs to be fixed a little I know. I suck at rendering (especially hair).
