For Photoshop cs2 how so put an image onto the other layer you made?
I have the background done but I don't know how to transfer an image onto it...

You cut the background out of the image you want. Them use the trim command to get rid of any useless canvas. then you just drag it onto your sig. It'll create a new layer above the last one you had selected when working on your sig, so make sure to select the top later before dragging it over.

or go Select>All, Edit>Copy.
then go to your sig background.
Edit>Paste.
and KABAMM :D
