DPI Question

Hi,

I just bought a Microsoft Sidewinder mouse. In CS: S i usually use 2.0 sensitivity. When i first plugged in my mouse it came with 3 default on the fly DPI settings, 2000, 800, 400.

I changed these to, 2000, 1600, 1000.

I've played around with every DPI but cannot find any that match upto 2.0 sensitivity:(

Can anybody help me with this matter please?

2000 DPI with 2.125 sensitivity is pretty good. DPI isn't really a sensitivity thing. It's the mouse's ability to sense movement. In other words, the higher the DPI the higher the resolution is and therefore the mouse senses your movement more precisely.

Personally right now I use 400dpi @ 3.0 ingame sensitivity. I can dip to about 2.4.

Then again, when I play, I tend to awp. But also works for me being a rifler too.
