Can someone help me edit a pic?

Hey I was trying to do photoshop and I just gotta edit me and cut out everything else in the pic and then ill just make the background like white or something haha idk
but I swear does anyone know how to make it so that I get cut out of the pic perfect really?
I mean I try with the lasso tool but its such a pain and I cant keep my hand steady to do it perfect haha
If someone could it would be really great and I would be your best friend! :)

I can do it, but I use the Polygonal Lasso tool for pretty much everything, if you have enough patience you can cut anything out.

I like using the eraser tool for cleanup. Tedious? for sure...but I like my edges to be perfect and it gives me a lot of control. :mvreallyhappy:

I have to do it at like 1600% magnification to be able to get it as accurate as I want it to be. I'm a perfectionist but also very lazy. That's why I usually go with the poly lasso tool. Good times.

All methods / techniques as narrated above would just work fine. Depending on the scenario, complexity of image / photo or time constraint, you may prefer to accomplish either through Lesso, Pen or Eraser as per your convenience.

I normally prefer magic eraser in conjunction with smudge tool for smooth cropping.
