Sig Requirements?

Is there an announcement about this anywhere?

I see people are already making sigs bigger than most of their posts, kind of bothersome in my opinion.

I believe Cella or Gypsy made an offhand comment that we were going to stick to the same rules as before, no bigger than 548x150 and then a 1 sig limit :D

i dont think any sigs have been made bigger than that.

you might be refering to the banners taht have been being made. but i havent seen any sigs of that size yet.

however if i see it, ill report it :D

I think for the moment it would be best just to NICELY mention to whoever has the sig that is outside the 'established and assumed to be followed' rules of our forums. If need be (for problems caused or like inappropriate stuff) PM a Moderator instead of an Admin. Moderators do just that, let the admins deal with working on the site solely for now :D

Yeah supermods and mods are PMS leaders, I think we should have a seperate set of mods since they're busy enough as it is.

The rule before was 1 sig and a mini banner allowed. I would hope this still stands since most people put their gamercard in their sig. :)

I doubt it Little_Missy. I think if they comment on sizes it will be because of either long post sizes (I doubt your signature should be bigger than your sidebar) or if it breaks the tables.(Stretching.)

I think you should get a size, both in pixels and kb (animated sigs that's almost half a mb, that sort of thing) rule, even though it seems like post people have beeing playing fair so far.

Aww, no one is trying to be mean. But there were some sig regulations on the previous forums, and I assume they carry over here. Before the rule was in place people had like 3 huge sigs, it was crazy. lol

And yeah, it looks much better now that you resized it.

a total of 500x150 for images is common; personally I make mine 400x150.

there was someone I saw around here who had 2 full size sigs, but I cant remember who it was. No one I recognized from the original forums. Unless they changed their name.

as good as an idea that seems, perhaps right now it would be helpful to them if those of us, or you, who notice these things could just send a polite PM.

On the old forums I remember Rip saying that they didnt have time as it was, and I get the feeling that they are busier now...thats why i had my Official Sig Size Patrol officer title. I miss my title :(

lol I hit over 200 posts three times and the admins changed my post count everytime. I wonder why they didnt change his (hmmmm.....)

There were some threads that were deleted, ironically including the one regarding whether or not the post-count should be hidden. xD

Yeah I think you'll be fine considering the two top pictures are small. :)

The sig regulation is meant to keep people from having like a billion (yes a billion) full size sigs. I don't miss the days when you have to scroll down the page forever just to read posts because everyone had like 3 sigs each. :D :cool:

Not to mention the way you have it set up now the three sigs can essentially be combined into one that fits within the size limit.

As for the size regulations, yes please go along the basis of what the size limits were previously. In addition, please send a short polite message informing whoever's signature is outside the limits that their signature is outside the limits and ask them nicely to put the sig to within the limits. If there's trouble then contact a mod / admin.
Not sure what sort of moderating privilidges the PMS Leaders usergroup has, so i can't answer the qeustion on that one.

Yeah the problem with the same size as before arguments is there really isn't a place for newbs or people with bad memory to look it up >_>.
