Diablo 3 may posibbly come to the console

all thought it hasnt been officially announced, while activision being the allmighty eye over blizzerd there is a chance that it may come to console...we may have to wait for e3 or later for an offical announcment. but my speculation is that if it does happen its gonna happen at e3 here is some eye candy

Diablo has group play but not MMO type gameplay.

Blizzard makes games very low end PC friendly so I will be picking it up day 1.
Not to mention PC games are cheaper than console games.

Dude they arnt going to port it to consoles im sorry but it was rumored for YEARS that WoW was going to come to consoles and Blizzard shoved that back in everyones faces Blizzard doesnt make Console games they make Computer games end of story. And it isnt a matter of graphics or "stability" just to clear up the above argument, Blizzards games could easily be played on consoles, hell people are able to play WoW on a ******* cell phone >.> But again it comes down to the style of play and Diablo is, like said above, a point and click rpg its not a run and gun nor is it a joystick friendly rpg and again Blizzard doesnt make console games they make computer games end of story.

One last thing before i say goodbye and go see a movie, Why would blizzard port Diablo to a console that doesn't have its older brothers? Thats like sending the horse to the slaughter before the race no one on consoles would know whats going on unless they played the computer version and if they played the computer games why would they buy it on the consoles? Most people prefer having a mouse and keyboard over a controller. But anyways im gone the movie Wanted is calling my name and with The Dark Knight right around the corner i need to catch up on my theater movies.

They did have starcraft on console so blizzard does make games for console. As for Diablo III I heard rumors of it being made into a mmo with heaven vs hell, you can choose your side and fight with hell or heaven just like they have the horde and the alliance for WoW and you never know blizzard likes to suprise people so they may come out with wow on console sometime in the future it all depends on if they think it will be good enough for them to make some big money. I seriously wouldn't like to see it on the console though...they ruined warcraft with WoW they shouldn't do the same with diablo it makes a better point and click then it would a mmo but if you think thats where most of blizzards money comes from is WoW they gotten rich off it so why not pop out another one to get these crazed addicted gamers to spend more of their hard earned money.....im so glad i quit playing wow.....untill the expansion comes out....haha

Are you sure? because ive googled it and the only game for the consoles that comes up with "starcraft" is Starcraft: Ghost which died during development :\ and from my knowledge that was the only game that Blizzard every attempted to develop for the consoles.

Edit: Went to their awards page and the only games they have listed are their computer games. How long ago did you see him play it on a console? cause you might have mistaken it for a PC that he hooked up to his TV or you might have mistaken it for another RTS

again are you sure they arnt talking about starcraft: ghost on the ps2? because it was scheduled to be released on the ps2 and xbox.

Edit: didnt know that about Diablo on the Playstation lol how well did it do compaired to the pc? and im guessing it didnt turn out too well or they would have kept going with it when Diablo 2 came out but would have put it on the ps2 (just a guess though lol)

Edit2: and you are correct about starcraft 1 on the N64 it was titled Starcraft 64, kinda like Super Mario 64 lol but again blizzard must have been disappointed with its turnout in sales or they would have continued with it, making a second that included its expansion pack.

Edit3: PS2 version isnt bringing anything up but info about Starcraft: Ghost which like i said never came out.

Edit4: Well seeing as neither of the original titles (on the N64 and PS) came out with their expansions or sequels, it just means that they didnt really do aswell as Blizzard planned and i believe (just a theory) that Starcraft: Ghost was their final try at console gaming, but again its just a theory.

Right there with ya lol thats why i cant imagine blizzard bringing Diablo III to the consoles, not only does it make for a better point and click but they people playing it on the consoles would have to go to the pc to get the history of what happened in Diablo II and its sequel LoD. Well Diablo is already basicly an MMO, not a MMO like WoW but it is an MMO, and Battle.net has always been free so why would they start making you pay for it now?

Meh well like i said Diablo is already pretty much an MMO i mean you play on a network with millions of people and you can make "partys" (or game rooms it you want to call it that) and play with up to 8 people, i believe blizzard is trying to push that number though to 16 but im sure thats just a false rumor ive heard and it would kinda destroy the game unless they balanced it by making the bosses/monsters strong to take in to account the number of players.

Edit: Yes its the same with Warcraft and Starcraft but they are RTS games so its sorta different lol.

Halo on PC was the original idea. In fact PC games usually have more content than console games. I think it was Halo 2 for PC that had the flamethrower that they couldn't get to work for XBOX, Fable for PC had more content, Sims for PC had more, Advent Rising was more crisp. I could go on and on. Does anyone remember Starcraft for the N64? Blizzard should learn from its mistakes
