Request For ECA Game Night Graphic

Hey,

I know we have some talented people and I"m posting this request on behalf of Athena Twin who is away in Paris right now.

We need a graphic to be used on all ECA and PMS social groups(Myspace, Facebook, so on), TheECA.com, PMSClan.com, the ECA forums, and the PMS forums, possibly even affiliate websites.

Ok, So I need something using the ECA logos, which you can find here: http://www.theeca.com/ads (http://www.theeca.com/ads)


The tricky part is I need somewhere on the side or center of this graphic to have a spot where we can put an IMG of a game and change the IMG each week since the game and platform(PC or Xbox) will be different every Sat.

So it should layout or look something like this:

Join us for ECA Game Night!

On PC this week: (if there's no way to change wording only the image than one for PC and one for Xbox)

Join ECA members, chapter presidents, and friends every Saturday 9PM EST-12AM on Xbox or Xfire on PC for some fun and a chance to win a prize from the Entertainment Consumer Association (http://www.theeca.com/).

A different ECA Chapter President will be hosting a room every week on either PC or Xbox. ECA Game Nights are open to everyone so send send ECAGameNight a FR on Xbox (http://live.xbox.com/en-US/profile/profile.aspx?pp=0&GamerTag=ECAGameNight)or on Xfire (http://www.xfire.com/profile/ecagamenight/) (for PC gamers) to join us.

I don't want to mention what President or who is hosting for that week because people change so last min sometimes, that doesn't really matter, since I can send messages to folks on Xfire and Xbox or underneath this graphic I can just add who's hosting and to look for their name in the ECAGameNight friends list..So that's not a big deal.

I would like to be able to add links if possible..mostly to the eca website or forums. You can try varies sizes and I'll see what looks best, lol it just shouldn't be huge I don't want to stretch anyone's Myspace, facebook, or anything.

Anyone who does a good job on this I'll try and see about getting you either a game or something from either ECA or PMS for the trouble :)

Sounds interesting, do you mean like a frame image? something to go around the image? I'll give it a try and see what i come up with.

Yeah I guess you could say it would be a frame image with static text/links that wouldn't change only the image would change.

Ahh, ok, i got it. Is there anything specific you want on it other than the ECA logo?

Nope it's pretty open as long as it looks clean and well done with the ECA logo. If you want to try some interesting font for ECA Game Night that's cool too.

Is it possible to link to the ECAGameNight xbox profile without being signed in? I want a link to it in the graphic..but it just goes to the Windows Live sign in for Xbox.

No i don't think thats possible, you could possibly link it to the ECA 1up or the ECA website or something, or even make a seperate blog for the ECA GameNight?

Well here is my crack at it. I know the versions are large,but it shows more clearly what is there. There is also a preview of the size for a myspace page.

But I need a way to be able to change the game in the middle...we could possibly just pre make one for each game, but that's probably not practical down the road when more games come out. If that can't be done, maybe create one premade image with all the games ie Halo 3, COD 4, TF, so on. And just say what game we'll be doing when the entry is written.

Yea unless we do some sort of flash (which i am still in school for), we will probably need to change the pictures. But i am perfectly fine with this. If you chose my design i will gladly make one for each game and update them as needed. I will update the upper text to make it brighter. :)

I want a few more people to submit their work and have our Graphics Dept Head; Vinx give give any suggestions as well. This would most likely have to be done by this or at the very most next Sat.

Rather than raster, we may build / pick any class of logo in vector form and may further extend it up to 12000, 24000, 48000 or even more than 96000 dpi resolution of size which are generally required for large size banners and billboards as well.

Here is my plain TF2 version, a generic one is coming soon:

I went for a TF2 themed poster, thus it being to simple;
it compliments the text, and the image.

I am going to post a few more versions, one being a
generic template; and as it seems, TF2 is a popular
game, so I will leave that one be.

Since I have the .PSD, text color and all that is fully
customizable and such.
