Who here's a fan? I know not many people know who they are and any other people who know about them are like "aw yeah I really like that song "rooftops"/"last train home"/"town called hypocrisy"", but maybe, just maybe, there's some straight fans out there.
I've been a fan since Start Something. I remember it to the day February 2nd, 2004. And I've loved them ever since. Their latest album was alright but the greater half of it made me want to dye my hair and slit my wrists.
I'm also a big fan of FSoP. Rap Metal at it's finest! :mvdj::mvguitar: Anyways, if there's anyone out there who loves Lostprophets as much as I do, feel free to give a shout out.

I've been a fan since the good old Shinobi days, if you know what I mean. I met the band while they toured on Ozzfest in 02 and they were very down to earth guys. It was funny because me and my friend were a couple of the few people who actually wanted to meet them so we got more time to chat which was fun.

I got to hang out with Ian and Lee in San Diago around summer of '06 after LT was released but it was only for like an hour and a half. Fun but brief : / I think, had I known about Lostprophets prior to Start Something, I definitely would have been a Fake Sound of Progress fan.
Ya i really like them too - there were a few songs i'd just play when i was running a year or two ago, not sure why they worked really well, but it was always in pace with my strides.

Start Something and Everyday Combat are good pump-up songs. When I used to jog, those were always good favourites

I miss the harder sound they had, not that the last few singles were bad but Fake Sound of Progress is still my favorite from them.

Well they've changed their genre with every new CD they've had so...
FSOP = Rap Metal-ish
SS = Alt Rock
LT = Pop Rock
and in recent interviews, they've said that they just like to play whatever they feel like. They're not "selling out", they're just a group of friends playing what they want to play for fun and now that they've gotten all the pop out of their systems, they want to try for something "darker" and "nastier" and Ian has hinted at the newest album sounding more Metal with a hint of bands like Rocket from the Crypt and Faith No More. I'm stoked
