Sony Bravia V-Series KDL-40V3000 40-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Bravia-KDL-40V3000-40-Inch-1080p/dp/B000SB9K5W/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&s=audio-video&qid=1215119733&sr=1-11)
1 Refurbished from $899.99
Each have 2-3 HDMI ports and a built-in TV tuner and you can get for under $1,000 if you don't mind settling for refurbished on the Sony Bravia. (Otherwise, the other 2 are under $1k)

Well... If you're seriously looking for Sony, then go for an "X" series companion instead of "V" or "W" etc.

Sony Bravia is supposed to be rediculously high quality though. It's still an amazing TV.
