anybody play it? I heard it was terrible for the consoles..but i love it for the PC.

yeh americas army for consoles was made so people would come online and play this awesome game... the only bad thing about it is that you have to do basic training to do multiplayer...

but other than that... free, great gameplay and lifelife physics.. its AWESOME

yeah i agree, im nota big fan of the literally sitting in class thing and taking tests to play, but i just had some friends do it for me lol. =)

Its alright, I was hearing they will do it for the new Unreal Engine 3

My boyfriend helped develop and test America's Army at Westpoint before the game came out so we had the beta version. It is a fun game on PC. The sitting through class thing was actually kind of fun because it simulates what you would learn in basic training a little. The game was actually developed initially for incoming soldiers to get an idea of what they would face during basic training and in combat but it gained popularity and became a little more mainstream. I haven't played it in a while. Last I remember is using the CD jacket as a coaster.

yeah cs was horrible on consoles, and iv still never played it on PC either.

americas army sucked in my opinon.. many net coding issues. they also have AA for xbox or ps2 if i remember correctly.. pretty sure it sucks on there also

most of the class time i just let it run and take the test seeing how i have sat through them in real life. the only problem i had with the pc version was, that i would go through basic and it would not save my stuff so every time i would play i would have to go through basic every dang time. not a very good thing if you ask me.

really? it never saved? thats odd..yeah i only had to do it once and that was it..thank goodness lol
